529 Wellington Steakhouse

Excellent food. Steaks were perfect. Appetizers were more than enough for our table of 4. The sides ordered were similar. We were too full to try any dessert. Everyone was pleased with the cocktails. Only one person wanted wine but the wine list is extensive.
The music was a bit too loud at first but I asked for it to be lowered slightly and then it was perfect. Tables are not so crowded that you can overhear conversations. Overall noise levels are limited due to the use of separate rooms because this is an old mansion. The place itself is beautifully decorated. Staff are all well trained and extremely helpful. Roger, our server, was tremendous.

Great food and service. We had an issue with one of the dishes and server & management quickly resolved. Noise level in our dining area was quite loud.

From the moment you walk in the door, you're greeted with a warm welcome, and undivided attention. The menu selections are extensive, with offerings for every taste. Meals were presented very appealingly, and hot meals arrived hot. Our server Vasily, was attentive without being intrusive. He was very helpful in helping us in our menu selections; and after some persuasion told us some of his favourites. From the burger, to the steak to the prime rib stuffed yorkshires, everything was delicious! If you haven't dined at 529 before, please make every effort to do so, you won't be disappointed.

We went to celebrate my husband's birthday and everything from the service, food, and ambiance were exceptional. I'm normally a rib eye only person but we decided to share the seared porterhouse and it definitely didn't disappoint! Fine dining at its best. Not an inexpensive restaurant but it's worth eating Mac and cheese for the next month as the food really was that good. I was leery about the 2 hr time limit but thankfully it wasn't enforced. The restaurant was busy but not overly so we were able to relax and enjoy the evening. Shout out to Chris our server! He was attentive and made the evening special.

The evening we spent together at 529 Wellington with my husband and I was nothing short of wonderful! Throughout the entire meal, we were treated with professionalism and courtesy by Eric, our server. In addition to making our visit feel special and comfortable, he made us feel at home. We were pleasantly surprised by the food, which was both delicious and quite impressive. Every item tasted wonderful to our palates and each one was a pleasure to eat. A wonderful meal was capped off by a chocolate lava cake, which I must say was an excellent ending to an incredible meal that we had. Thank you to Eric for helping make our anniversary so memorable!

I brought my family here for dinner for a small family reunion. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Portions were generous but the food was all lukewarm. For a place that is supposed to be fine dining I would expect better quality

Average. Was extremely disappointed with the A5 wagyu steak. They precut it so all the juice was gone. It was also overcooked and dry. Had better waygu for $200. Other dishes were also average and overpriced.

I travel a lot for work in Canada and the US getting the opportunity to dine at many fine restaurants. Coming home and getting the opportunity to take customers to 529 always makes a very positive long lasting impression. Of all the places I have been, 529 is as good as it gets, we are lucky to have this place right here in our own backyard, well done!!

Prime rib cooked perfectly with the best Yorkshire puddings!great service and waiter !and a few extras to help celebrate my birthday ! Was a wonderful experience!

The knowledge of the wait staff is impeccable and the food presentation and taste was the best.

Always good food here, the mini yorkies were delicious but not that mini. The girls had salads + salmon, the boys steaks. Not too fond of the big sides to share though, they were ok but not everyone wanted to share, one of us took 1/2 of one home. Ice cream dessert was great. Personally I prefer their lunch menu. Which is great.
