Our go to AYCE sushi spot. The entrance door slams loudly at least a hundred times while we were eating in the front dining area. Loud enough to make you jump. Should have been fixed years ago. If they fix the door I'll fix my review.

Always my go to place if I want to eat salmon roll and sashimi. Got takoyaki and notice that they use now wasabi mayo. Its my first time to use their bathroom and its really horrible and need some maintenance. Its also a narrow one.
Went there for the first time and honestly they did not dissapoint.Food had good seasoning and portion size was good.I will come again definitely

It's been awhile since I last ate here, but the thing that stopped me from ordering from here again was I found a dead mouse on the floor near the bathroom. I didn't want to come off as rude so I didn't say anything at the time. The mouse stayed on the floor near the bathroom for the entire time I was at the restaurant. And the food comes out near the bathroom so I'm not sure why the staff never cleared it. Was with a party of five and we all say it. I understand mice are tricky and restaurants might have issues with them but leaving it out for multiple hours right in customers faces seems like bad practice. I hope things have improved since then (2022 summer). Food was decently tasty, not bad for all you can eat.

Totally trash. It’s the worst sushi I had in Winnipeg. The female Chinese server is arrogant and rude. And the food is nowhere near delicious.
Definitely not A+. We had a party of 9 and came for AYCE. $43 (after taxes and 12% gratuity). The menu is quite large, usuals, appies, soups, rolls, etc. SKIP the spicy tofu soup. There was no tofu in it. It tasted like water heavily flavored with cayenne pepper. Could taste the sediment. Instead of tofu, there was iceberg lettuce floating in it. Some of the appies were very greasy. The rolls were alright, though nothing spectacular. We were missing multiple items off our first order, as well as off our second order. Asked about them, advised nothing else coming, OK, so we re-order and then the missing items come as well as the re-ordered items. Makes it hard to re-order when you miss items. We didn’t need double of everything. Service was alright, took long in between orders but the food started to come out decently quick. We sat in the front space, was very dark. The front door also slams loudly everytime someone comes in and out. Please fix that.

LOCATION: great location since it's in the heart of the hustle and bustle of the corydon strip. Consider that parking is on the street and can be difficult to find especially during peak hours
FOOD: Presentation was nicely done. Sashimi was great and the cheese mussels were delicious. Unfortunately the sushi rolls and special rolls were dissapointing in taste And the rice seemed of low quality, . They also did not have beef tataki even though it was on the menu
EXPERIENCE: The servers were very kind And were tentative. Our table was cleaned consistently and the service was always brought with a smile. Unfortunately Our last re-order was forgotten about and we sat there for over half hour... When the server was asked if the remaining part of our food was coming they had stated they didn't recall the order being put through. We ended up cancelling and leaving since we didn't want to wait any longer
