I went to A&W Plessis last night with my friends and had a really great experience. The food was fresh and delicious, and the service was fast and friendly. We got our order on time, and the staff were very polite. Overall, it’s a wonderful place — definitely recommend!

I ordered a 3-piece chicken strip meal through the drive-thru on Nov 7/25, and the experience was unbelievably frustrating.
Normally, this meal includes two dipping sauces, and I’ve always been able to substitute those sauces for mayo packets instead. It’s something I’ve done many times before without issue. But this time, the woman working the drive-thru refused, claiming there was a “price difference.”
When I asked her to check, we found out both mayo and dipping sauces are 25¢ each….so there was no price difference at all. Despite that, she still refused to give me what I ordered and only handed over one mayo packet, even though the meal includes two sauces. That means I didn’t even get everything I paid for.
The interaction was rude, argumentative, and completely unnecessary. I shouldn’t have to argue over 25¢ packets or correct an employee about basic menu prices. The lack of consistency and professionalism at this location is really disappointing, and it’s not the first time they’ve made up rules on the spot.
I left feeling disrespected and shortchanged. If management reads this, please retrain your staff to follow your own policies — or at least make sure customers actually receive what they paid for.
I am also planning on emailing head office to advise them of this as well.

I ordered onion rings and team burgers for take out and they were the worst onion rings I ever had. They were all the huge end type pieces and seamed old. I life 10 minutes away and the weren’t even warm. They were actually hard to eat. I go to A&w often but won’t go back to this store.

Have never had any issues with this location and food ha been always fresh so theres been a bit of a wait but the quality has been worth the wait especially compared to other locations 2nd best would be grant park in the mall, also this location onoin rings are on point never have had soggy or gross onion rings (maybe knce kr a twice a onion ring had that first tough layer of skin still but thatd be it)

it is the worst experience I have ever had here. I went to drive-thru at around midnight, and there was a girl who took my order. I ordered piry piri potato buddy with combo. she told me to wait That hash brown took four minutes to cook. Afterwards, I came back to work and about to eat, That taste weird to me and I saw that it was A chicken burger whereas I’m vegetarian. Not only that, I called them 10 times when they were stll open and they don’t bother to pick up my call.

This A&W is very clean. Great service and the building gets a lot of natural sun, making it an ideal environment to eat in. I love the handwashing station and area to leave your dishes, it seems very well thought out.
Good quality food; as usual. Clean space and washrooms.
