Aaltos - Health Sciences Centre

Went for the lunch buffet (which changes Daily). I was Lucky because it was Roast Beef/BBQ Chicken/Ham with lots of Veg Sides, Salads, Soup and Desserts. It was well Worth the Price. The Servers were Attentive, Friendly and Helpful. Very Good place to go if you are really Hungry so you can enjoy it All.

Had wonderful service here this week, but unfortunately the soup salad and dessert bar had me running to the bathroom all afternoon.

I liked it, but there are many people outside who are not good looking

Everything’s good except for the fact they are not open for supper staying here in hsc canad inns and I have three sons with autism and 2 family members with diabetes who shouldn’t be eating pizza and pasta down stairs every night and we don’t want to eat in our room all the time or far away in the food court where there is only sandwiches please open in the evening we are not the only ones that have mentioned it who would come down Covid is over time to open up please. We may be here for months and we would rather not have to get skip the dishes or go far away for food.

Kid-friendliness: Yes there is kid friendly options

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes elevators good and sitting area isles and the washrooms accessible but you need garbages on the walls for handi capped people who are diapered partially you gotta leave a stall to throw away wipes in the men’s washroom where I had to help my family member

Dietary restrictions: This is why we hope you will open later for diabetics and the kids in the building who can’t eat pizza every night we need nutrition for healthy patients and caregivers

A very average place. Service, average, food quality average. Nothing special. Being somewhat captive in the hotel I’d hoped for better. All of the food tasted like, with a little thought, you could figure out the label on the can that was opened.

Did not enjoy fast food style breakfast. Same thing you would get at A&WThought Altos had more class then that. Never would l order breakfast again from there. 2 pieces of reddi crisp bacon and instant potatoe cubes deep fried. Horrible experience.

The rooms were so clean and perfect in every way and my bed was very comfortable. The staff were all very kind and helpful so my stay was enjoyable and wonderful. I was so pleased and I look forward to staying there again one day.

Honestly, the service here is impeccable. Always friendly, attentive, helpful. The food is reasonably priced and they get it out to you quickly. I had the Greek salad and it's good, they finely chop the veggies so they're bite sized and you get a bit of every ingredient with each bite (something a LOT of restaurants struggle with!). It was over dressed but that's probably because I like little to no dressing, I would just ask for side dressing or none if you don't like oil. I forgot about who served me, a lovely woman who works the weekday lunch shift, she is always the best.***It's weird that it recognizes them as Aaltos because it's been Garbonzo's for a long time.

I ordered Eggs Benedict. For the price it's not worth it. The food came cold. The ham was rubbery, the sauce was sour that I can't even eat the entire thing and the English muffins was soggy. I was expecting more since the picture looks good, it didn't came as what it looks like from the picture. I don't recommend to anyone. Other restaurants were way better.

Good omlette but a little over cooked.And a child's toast.Paid for sices of banana yesterday for little over $2, didn't recieve it.

The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. I picked this hotel because my spouse had to be at the hospital for 5:30am on the day of his surgery. The pillows and beds were o.k The parking a horrible mess, (you have to fight a bunch of taxis for the 2 spots you can park in, unload your vehicle, run your stuff up to your room then go back to your vehicle and drive across the street to the parkade. There are a lot of places you aren't allowed to stop to unload.) My only real complaint is - the room was NOT clean. I had requested a room with a bath tub because I have a bad back and often need to soak. When I went to check in, the lady was like, "we just don't have a room ready for you yet" because they made some mistake and had me booked into a room with no tub. But in about 3 minutes she said they did. I hear her ask over the walkie-talkie "it's clean and ready?" and they said yes. It had a sign on the door that said "certified clean" but later that day, as I got out of the tub I noticed dust on the bathroom floor. If they really had no room available for me, than it wasn't dust from not being used. The lamp between beds was obviously dusty so how is that clean when there's a pandemic? I'm sure that light was not sanitized. Anyway, I was too exhausted to try to move and figured too late now, if the person before me had COVID I'm already exposed to the germs. The next day, as I straightened the bed, I found 2 gross satins on the blanket. The stains were like... hard. Like dried juice or food. I feel positive that blanket wasn't washed. Maybe hotels don't wash blankets between uses?

Food is great, large portion for the price, I have yet to go away disappointed in any of the meals I have ordered...
