My favourite Sushi place in the city. As someone who been to Tokyo and Taipei, looking for a sushi place in North America that actually amazes me is very hard. But I like this place a lot and the fact that they are not crowded is a plus. I go there almost every month.

Really enjoyed. Had a buy one get one free promo on skip which made it really great value. Tried the crab aburi sushi, and a few basic rolls. Not quite 5 star sushi for me… couple other places in town I think rank above, but did not regret this choice.

A very good experience. Tasty and well presented. Not the best sushi I ever had but certainly worthy to visit again. I would give 4.5 starts but rounding up for putting in the effort to satisfy the customer.

The choices that I ordered was amazing. Definitely unique flavor compared to other Japanese restaurant. The only thing that slightly bothered me was the price point, but because it the taste was amazing I will let it pass. The chef's recommendation was top notch. It is a small space as they probably cater more to pick up orders, but the experience was authentic in my opinion.

I will not suggest going to this sushi place. I did pick up buy one get one crab sushi and to start with when I entered the store it smelled super wired (definitely not good) then picked up my order no issues, when started eating, the sushi was falling apart it would not stay together, i thought you know it smells fine so its just thin layer but nope, later that night, i got Food Poisoning and guess what the sushi’s was definitely not good. Little did i know if the food smells and tastes fine it can still be premade and kept long enough until someone buys and get sick! Very sad! It was my first time ordering there and i can bet that its the last time too!

Late service
If you’re looking for authentic, high-quality sushi, this place is a must-visit. Every piece tastes fresh, delicate, and perfectly balanced. The chef’s attention to detail really shows in every bite. Definitely one of the best sushi experiences I’ve had in a long time! Dining here feels like a quiet journey by the sea. It’s not just a meal, but an experience that stays with you long after the last bite.

Don’t fall to the trap of buy one get one if you don’t want to get a frozen rice cubes with a tiny layer of whatever on top. Taste is nothing other than stale rice. Don’t get mouth-watered by photos which don’t look like to what we received.

A mix of good and bad.
Their location is actually small—with only 4 tables and a window to look out on. Now for my experience...
On one hand, the atmosphere is nice. Bossa nova playing on the background, cars passing by the window in the silent night, and the noise coming from the kitchen mingling together to give a serene cacophony of sounds. On the other hand, the stench odor, the long waiting time, and the little-to-no service gives me a reason to take one star away from this otherwise perfect experience.
The food isn't special, just that the presentation is spectacular.
One thing to really take from this reviiew is that this place is good for luxury dining/tasting you do once or twice, but not a go-to location for sushi. There are better places to get them, much cheaper too.
Also, I could've finished 10 pages of a book before I could get what I ordered lol
Also, their tuna slices are thick, THICCCK

It’s the best sushi in Winnipeg. That’s all there is to say about it.

Food and service is great! Dine in is cramped, if you mind I recommend ordering or pick up to eat elsewhere.

Great food. Consistent quality from the other times I’ve been there or ordered takeout. I recommend this place.

This is a must-try sushi restaurant. The flavours were exceptional, presentation was top notch and the service was great. Their pressed sushi was my favourite, the salmon was slightly torched and each piece came with a piece of jalapeño to add some heat. I will definitely be back.
