Costed me $70 before a tip, $82 after tip, for 2 pizzas and 1 cocktail. The pizza is so small and the dough is paper thin so it does not fill you up at all, at MOST the pizza is worth $12. Absolutely no value for the price you are paying. Would not recommend this place at all.

Awful service. Server never came for a quality check, never cleared appetizer plates before dinner service, and never came to ask for a drink order after initial sit down. We had to get up and go ask her if we could order drinks, had to go get up and find her and ask for a dessert menu. Overall poor service.

Food quality was below expectations, since our last visit this past summer we knew NOT to order anything but salads and pizzas which we did a few evenings ago, both salads were very small for the price and underwhelming and both pizzas were well below quality expected. Quite mediocre in fact, almost no cheese on both and crust and toppings were skimpy . Atmosphere is warm lighting but we won't be back any time soon. Dining with friends after the Beyond Monet exhibit. Close by so it was convenient.

The food was great. The service, weird. We had a reservation, we showed up 10 min early, we were immediate seated beside a table of 8 so close to them they could not get out of there table without us moving. We looked around there were many other open tables. We asked to be moved and were told, yes we could move, but only if we were done within 1.5 hours, which really shouldn't be a problem unless service was slow, which it was not. We saw many other open tables not used during our time there, not really sure what the whole situation was about. The poor table of 8 thought that they had offended us and came to apologize. Nothing to do with them 8 people are loud in general, not their fault, poor planning by the restaurant in my opinion. Different if we had walked in with no reservation, then you take what you get, but this reservation was made weeks in advance.

The food, drinks and service was amazing, but it is VERY loud when it is full. Some acoustic review of the space needs to be done, since it was hard to listen to people on the other side of the booth

We dined at Gusto North before a Jets game. Lovely, polite service and excellent food served promptly! The noise level is a little too high..only because the restaurant is located in True North Square. We will come again!

The food and drinks are overpriced. Not a great selection of food. It is so loud and you can barely hear the people at your table speaking. This was my first time there and I wont be back.

This is a great restaurant with amazing food. My only recommendation if you're a party of 2 is to say you're a party of 3 when you make your reservation. Otherwise you will be seated at the tiniest table seated almost elbow to elbow with other tables. There were 2 of us and it felt so awkward we asked just to be moved to the bar.

Our share plate appetizers were really good - we had aranchini, ricotta & tartar. However we found the carbonara very bland & the pizza's (887 & De Naro) were alright. I wouldn't hurry back for the food. Our cocktails were great & our server was friendly & attentive.

I have always had a great experience at Gusto North. I am vegan due to allergies, which I am about about with servers before ordering as I appreciate the servers knowledge and advice. Unfortunately, this experience did not live up to past experiences. Our server was not knowledgeable about the menu which resulted in her providing incorrect information, and we also received the wrong orders. This caused delay in our apps, salads and meals. We never needed up receiving our actual orders. The food I personally received was bland. We spoke to our server and she apologized but no alternatives were provided as a good, we loved the ambience but agreed there were other tastier and reliable options in the square. It sucked because this was my birthday dinner and I was excited for dinner.

First visit to Gusto North before the Jets game. Service was very good. Everyone was friendly and my drink was always topped up so never needed to ask for a refill. Waitress' suggestions for drinks and food were spot on. I would say it's a little pricey for the food portions but well worth it when you consider the service and atmosphere. I would recommend this place!

I expected the meal to be outstanding but it was just meh. I had read a review about the pizza crust being the best in the city and honestly? My own pizza crust is better. My husband isn't a fan of thin crust so he thought that was the reason but I love it. Usually. THIS one was a lil burnt but also not crispy. How do u do that? Very little flavour besides chili. And where was the cheese? And the appetizer was basic. All in all disappointing. The service though was great as was the ambiance. Except despite the fact that I didn't think the noise would bother me, we had to shout at each other.

The food came quickly, the service was on point and we were overall impressed with everything considering there was a concert and most of the patrons were presumably heading there. While the ambiance was energetic, there was no sense of chaos or urgency.

We went early, and it was quiet. So quiet that you'd assume the service would have been perfect but it wasn't really. The whole experience was very subpar and we probably won't be rushing to go back. The patio is nice and the drinks are cold but that's kind of it

We recently celebrated a friend's birthday. We shared a salad and a pasta dish ( it was lunchtime!) and we delighted by our choices. Server Linnea was terrific. Lovely and friendly. We highly recommend Gusto North for special and not so special occasions.
