Great game selection and lots of seating. Perfect place to take a date.
Unfortunately the location has gotten really bad the parking is tricky to find if you aren't willing to pay, when you find a spot nearby sometimes you get arbitrarily towed by tatan towing. Then once you come out late from playing games there are a ton of sketchy people around. I've personally had to call 911 for someone laying on the ground overdosing just around the corner (and that was on the way IN at 6 pm)

I really hate going to this area but I like the games. If it keeps getting worse in the surrounding area I don't think I'll be able to keep coming every week or so.

This place is a gem. People were laughing loudly and having a great time! There's a person who will explain games to you or recommend some if you want and the food and service were stellar. We had a fabulous time playing four games during 3 hours and got the hummus plate and serenity tea.

I usually go there by myself 😂, not because I don't have friends, but because I go there on their least busy time morning-noon to read a book. Good atmosphere 👌

A great little secret in the downtown Winnipeg area for lunch or later on the day for dinner. It is a 5 star all around, but parking can be a challenge.

The server, Chris was very kind and patient with us and overall great server! But sadly the food was terrible. The potato wedges were uncooked, the Mac n cheese just tasted like heavy cream with cheese powder and was tasteless! The teriyaki stir fry was disgusting, do they taste what they serve or did everyone have covid and lost their sense of taste :(. Not giving it a one star because buddy Chris was a champ 🤙🏼

I went here with my mum and it was such a fun experience! We went for lunch, so the place was pretty quiet, but started to get busier around three. There was a huge selection of games and we didn't have any trouble finding something to play. The food and coffee was delicious, and the staff were super helpful and courteous, both with serving our table and with offering game suggestions. It has a splendid, cozy atmosphere and we would have stayed longer if our parking meter wasn't out of time lol. Such a cute place in downtown!

Had an amazing time with a couple friends here! Such a unique place in Winnipeg and I love the vibe. Food was amazing and staff were excellent, this one lady recommended and taught us this super fun game to our group! Only complaint is that it can get quite expensive, with downtown parking and then paying an additional $12 to play the board games.

If you need a place to go out with friends, family, or a first date, this is the place to be! Their game selection is incredible, we were taught to play several games throughout the night, and we had fun playing every game recommended. The employees are helpful and such a delight. We also enjoyed delicious food and drink. It’s a very affordable night out, and such a fun atmosphere!

Across the Board is truly in it's own league, the food is phenomenal I've never had any complaints but I'm sure if you had genuine complaints they'd absolutely rectify it. The service and staff absolutely go above and beyond every time, from super tailored choices of board games that exactly fits the vibe/what you're looking to play, to the legendary hospitality of servers that definitely radiate how much they love to be working here. The atmosphere even at peak dinner rushes on a weekend still hits the mark, a nice amount of background chatter but not loud enough that it drowns out your conversations.

Great unique place to go in Winnipeg, only complaint is for the service. Had to go up to the front desk to order food cause the server never went to our table
