amazing
Hands down our family favorite vegan restaurant. We always do the lunch buffet to take advantage of the variety
Affinity Vegetarian Garden is hands down the star player of veggie spots! If veggies had their own hockey league, this place would be the Winnipeg Jets — fast, fresh, and scoring big every time. It’s honestly one of the only vegan places in Winnipeg I truly trust to deliver amazing, consistent flavor without any fuss. Whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, or just someone who appreciates great food, the flavors here slap harder than a perfect slapshot.
Now, let me tell you about my all-time favorite: Combo A. This combo is like a hat trick of deliciousness — packed with so much flavor it’s basically the Conn Smythe of plant-based meals. Every bite is a goal celebration for my taste buds, and I’m pretty sure they’ve sprinkled some Canadiana magic on it.
Combo A has me coming back faster than a breakaway down the ice. It’s got the perfect blend of crunchy, savory, and fresh — like a power play that just can’t be stopped. I wouldn’t be surprised if they consulted Jets players while making it because every ingredient plays its role flawlessly. The rest of the menu is great too, but Combo A? That’s my top scorer, my MVP, my reason to keep cheering for plant-based goodness.
If you want veggies that are fun, flavorful, and made with a whole lot of love, Affinity Vegetarian Garden is your Winnipeg Jets of meals. Trust me, once you try Combo A, you’ll be shouting “GOAL!” at your plate too.
They have a lunch buffet till 2pm and it works by weight of the plate. Mediocre average food for the most part and not a huge selection either. Some dishes are a bit better but most are very average. Friendly service!
Phenomenal food! I have never had vegan Chinese food so good. My favourite dish is the lemon veggie chicken :) the only issue is that the neighbourhood is a scary place.
I love this place. The vegan food is SO good. If you are non vegan/vegetarian person and are looking for dishes that are reminiscent of meat, this is your place! The owners are also so sweet, and the place has a very comforting/peaceful atmosphere.
LOVE Affinity! This will always be one of our go to's. If you haven't been to their weekday lunch buffet then you should probably do yourself a favor and go immediately.
All vegan buffet, they charge you by the weight, however the food is very flavourful.
I'd recommend coming with a group of people and ordering an assortment of dishes to share. My favourites so far: Sweet & Sour Soyapork, Spicy Gluten, Pan Fried Dumplings, and the Wontons in Spicy Sauce. Staff are great. The menu is vast (perhaps overwhelmingly so?) and there's a mix of classic Chinese-American dishes and more authentic dishes, so something for everyone. I've been with a meat eater who enjoyed it. I tried the Combination Plate (Combo A - Sweet & Sour Soyapork) and it was good and all. But there are components of the combo that I'd rather swap out for other things. For example, the tea jelly. It wasn't... my cup of tea... It was good, but I wouldn't have ordered it if it wasn't part of the combo and I really didn't need more than a few spoonfuls. I'd love to go back for the buffet some time! There are so many more things I'd like to try!!

We had two dishes, Mapo tofu and mixed vegetables. Both are over sweeten for our taste. Sweet and sour soup is too sour.
Vegetarian options: We like the set up as vegetarian restaurant. The place is clean and tidy, especially the toilet.

Felt lucky to get a table no problem on a night when there was an event downtown. Parking a bit of an issue due to construction on the street, but we decided to just bite the bullet and pay for the parkade parking next door (peace if mind).
The vegan dishes we ordered were all very tasty: a curried rice and veggie dish, lemon "chickun" and rice noodle chow main, along with delicious Hot n' Sour soup and spring roll.
Vegetarian options: Everything plant-based

The restaurant itself is modest and clean. Important to stress the all veggie menu is extensive and traditionally Chinese. They have however successfully managed to transform all the traditional meat dishes into vegetarian friendly food. It is impressive. The price was very reasonable. Wish we had this Restaurant in Regina.

The food was clean and absolutely delicious. The service was exceptional, they let me make a take out order 30 minutes before close and served me lemon water while I waited. The atmosphere was great they had wifi and a trickling stream by the register. All gluten free options were indicated on the menu and the entire menu was totally vegan. 10/10 loved the whole experience.

This is our new favourite place in Winnipeg. Great menu which is fully vegan. Great tasting food. We came in late when it was quiet and had a wonderful chat with the owners, who are kind people.
