This place was amazing for years. Honestly not only one of the best pizza places in the province but I’d argue the country.The old owners sold it and it because a high priced little ceasers at best. I’d probably buy a 3$frozen pizza from Walmart before buying here.Looks like they closed the store even though it says it’s still open online, and are re branding because they destroyed the agostinos name. Super sad .

It’s only a few minutes away, over yonder, down Ness Avenue by Berry St. And oh boy are you in for a treat. What you get when you buy from Agostino’s, friend, is QUALITY. I’ve been a customer of theirs for years. Maybe you’ve heard that the place is under new management, yeah, but Gus left the place in good hands, lemme tell ya. Showed ‘em the way to make it right. Just order yourself an “Agostino” if you ain’t a vegetarian. Trust me.Parking: It’s part of a minimall. Just Street View it and you’ll see.

This spot is quickly becoming a personal favourite for pizza in the city! They’re the only place I know that has an option for two types of pizza dough (regular and honey rosemary) their specialty dough is spectacular! A slight sweetness and herbaceous notes from the crust, phenomenal! The bottom of the pie stays nice and crisp even withstanding all those fantastic toppings. Point proven as I couldn’t even take a picture of the pizza fast enough before a slice went missing.Toppings: we got a half and half of Mama Maria (pep, mushroom, onion, green peppers, Italian sausage) and Mama Mauro (eggplant, mushroom, Italian sausage, roasted red pepper)Excited to come back to try their calzones and other menu specialities! St. James, you’ve got a precious pizza gem in the neighbourhood. Highly recommended!!

From my experience, the pizza is a 2 star and I’m being generous. No taste, no flavour, minimal amount of toppings on dough that is so thick that it didn’t even fully bake through. I did ask for regular crust but it may be possible they gave me the thick crust. It was my first and most probably last time at this restaurant.

The Agostino was delicious. Also had the chicken souvlaki pizza. Wasn’t very impressed with this one. Chicken was dry. Actually the whole pizza was dry. Needs a more creamy sauce. Garlic cheese sticks were delicious. Found that on each end, the first 2 pieces (total of 8 pieces) had hardly any garlic or cheese on them and were mostly bread and were definitely harder that the rest.

I wish 1-star was possible. This place is awful. Crust is frozen, cheese is minimal, sauce was straight from a can, pepperoni's had absolutely no flavor.Garlic toast was Texas toast with about a half teaspoon of cheap imitation butter. Alfredo was 3/10, definitely not homemade as advertised. Don't waste a dollar here....
