Alena is one of our all time favourite spots in the city. We always recommend it to friends and enjoy regularly dining here on date nights. We have eaten at Alena's least 10 times and we have never been disappointed. We live in the area and we call Alena's a gem for our neighborhood. Top quality food, reasonably priced along with great service. They always have specials which in some cases I wish they would put on the menu as they were delicious. Can't wait to go again. Cheers.
Nice ambience, good service. The only problem for us was the STRONG smell of smoke in the restaurant. Luckily there are 2 rooms, and they moved us. While the wood fired stove is beautiful, it produces a smokey experience.
