Both the food and service here are abysmal. Waited forever to order and for drinks and other tables around us were languishing as well. The staff were busy filling take out orders while in store customers were ignored. Our food was actually brought to the wrong table and sat there for several minutes until they told staff it wasn’t their food, and it was then served right to us. Gross as the other table could have touched it. The restaurant looked dirty, I literally saw food on a wall. Ruined my appetite sitting next to that. The sushi rolls ranged from bland to disgusting. My fiancé threw up in the restaurant’s bathroom because one of the rolls was so sour. We refused to pay for the most disgusting of the rolls and were advised “for next time” that the mayo can have a sour taste. I guess the horrible food we were served is business as usual there. We’ve eaten sushi hundreds of times and never has it tasted like that. Next time? Yeah right.

This is the best sushi I've ever had, so many different delicious rolls. I pick up from here almost every Friday. My favorite is the spicy salmon crunch, along with the philadelphia, crunch, fireball, and lovey dovey. I also really enjoy the creamy mushroom tempura, assorted tempura and sunomono salad. 100/10 recommend!

I've had food from Amai Sushi multiple times now and it's always been good. I've had their yakisoba, yaki-udon and bulgogi. You get a lot for your money because the portions are quite big. It's nice to be able to finally get some Korean food in Transcona.

Ordered online asked for real crab got crab stick paid $3 extra for nothing can’t eat it because crab stick has gluten. Called the restaurant they sent me pictures I sent pictures back and never heard back. Choose not to eat it instead of getting sick.
