I visited the restaurant in the evening with my wife and found it quite crowded, which likely contributed to the slight delay in service. However, the food quality justified the wait, one of the few places I got to eat some crispy fries.

I was so absolutely impressed with my experience here. They seated us right away at the booth we requested which was a good start to begin with. Our server Eloise was amazing, she recommended the cilantro rice when I told her what I was deciding between and it was literally the best rice I have ever had. She was also super friendly and our drinks were never empty! The chicken burger my friend got was crazy, I have never seen so much bacon on a burger (posted a pic). We will 100% be coming back to this location!

It was our waitress’s second day on the job and she was the sweetest young lady i’ve ever met, i don’t know her name but she had glasses, she was super kind and we could tell she was nervous because we were a table of 5, but she did absolutely great, she was funny and super friendly, she even complimented my nails, her service was great and me and my family appreciated that a lot, she did take a little while to bring drinks but i can’t blame her at all because she was busy.

Went to Applebee’s for a family members birthday as this is typically a tradition - not anymore.. Atmosphere isn’t great, food was fine. But, upon finishing a drink, we found a large isopod (insect) in the cup. This has to be the most disturbing experience I have had in a restaurant. Our server compensated the drink and an additional $5 off the bill - after requesting. I recommend this restaurant have a health & safety check for cleanliness.

Gone downhill!!! Don't go there on weekends. I person serving!!! Horrible Service. Spent alot if money to see garbage on tables. No one working Slowwwwww Service. Shouldnt take 15 minutes, for a drink. Then dirty table, dirty glasses. Grant Applebee's get it Together!!!

I have not been to a Applebees in probably 20 years as we no longer have one where I live but when I was in Manitoba and saw one we knew we had to go, the disappointment started quickly as soon as we walked in the door it was a sad dark un welcoming environment hardly any customers and a lack of customer service. The first table we sat at was sticky and disgusting it was like it was coated in years un properly cleaned table dirt, we moved and same thing. I felt the tables around us and they were all the same sticky and disgusting and food on the floor under them. Watching them wash the tables I could see why, wipe the table top and then the seats on to the next but don't clean the cloth next table top and then the bench and so on. When we finally got our drinks there was lipstick mark on my glass. Food was a hard choice it felt like not a lot of choices, but we thought burgers were a safe bet when the food came and it was hardly room temperature also my burger had 0 flavour my husband wouldn't even eat it was was hands down the worst burger I have ever had. The fries would have been good if they were hot. We waited FOREVER for the bill before getting up and just standing at the front door for someone to acknowledge us if we were dishonest people we could have left without paying. I wish I could say something more than the fries were good as we were so looking forward to going here but unfortunately not so much. maybe we came on a bad night the people making the food were having an off day maybe the waitress was also having a bad day I don't like to leave bad reviews but the dirty sticky tables is not a one day thing makes me wonder how clean is their kitchen and I did get sick that night was it the food was it a coincidence I don't know. But maybe consider a deep cleaning if you have slow nights often like the night I went you definitely have the time. If the tables were not covered in thick stickiness I might have considered giving it another chance because we all have days.
Eloise is the best server! Everything was good and her recommendations were very accurate, really good timing on receiving our meals, the chicken soup wasn’t too great but the boneless entree and the dulce de leche cheese cake are delicious!

I used to go to Applebee's often (the one on Pembina). Thought it would be a good idea to go to the one in Grant Park. The food was terrible, the service was terrible too and the AC was not working and we weren't informed before being seated. It was such a hot day out today and it was hotter in the restaurant.

The hostess didn’t want to seat us at a booth, even though there were more than 20 available. We had to tell her we would leave if she didn’t seat us at one. All the food, even the kids’ meal, was heavily seasoned with curry. I wasn’t expecting that at an American restaurant in Canada. Honestly, very disappointed.
