I was visiting Winnipeg and found Aroma Bistro on Google. The outside is unassuming but once you walk through the doors, the Aroma of the food and the friendly staff had me eager to discover more of this little gem. It did not disappoint. The Peanut wontons with red chilli oil and the red chilli oil chicken rice bowl were excellent..I look forward to visiting Aroma when I return to Winnipeg.

Went here today for the very first time. Luckily was able to snag a table for a short duration as it was a busy Father’s Day and we didn’t have a reservation. Food came out suuuuper quickly and nice and hot. Not too long after receiving my order my son (who thoroughly was enjoying the noodle soup) leaned on the bowl and it spilled absolutely everywhere and all over me. Staff assisted in helping clean and generously brought me a new bowl on the house. I definitely wasn’t expecting that and it was so greatly appreciated as the spill put me into a huge flustered mood since I ended up wearing half of the bowl(haha). So I just want to say thank you to the staff again so very much for going out of your way to help make the situation turn out so much better.
We ordered the chicken appetizer(delish), the peanut wontons(delish) and the noodle soups (I had the snow beef which was SO tasty and my 6 year old even loved it as well). Paired it with a fruit iced tea. All highly recommend.
The food is absolutely fantastic. Service was wonderful. Cute intimate set up inside. Will definitely return.

The establishment offers delicious food, exceedingly generous portions, and reasonable prices, exceeding expectations. Furthermore, the owner, chef, and staff provided an exceptionally warm and welcoming experience. Loved the signature chilli oil. The food was flavourful. Perfect for my birthday treat and Christmas Eve.
We are going to come again and again.

I visited with other friends and I had Kimchi Beef Rice Bowl. Nearly $20 after tax. Tasted delicious and the table service was excellent and friendly.
Just wanna add something I noticed: if I was right, I saw how the manager interacted with her staff members, showing disrespectful behaviours and kinda rude and demanding. I felt sad for the team. Canadian workplace shall be respectful and supportive to each other, and when immigrants come and operate business, hopefully the management team can integrate with our Canadian values and make our country a better place.
Oops, we couldn't keep our chopsticks off the LaLa Pork! The LaLa pork and chicken are really good as are their red chili dumplings. Their shrimp wonton broth was a bit salty but the wontons were great, and everything was seasoned well.
Prices are reasonable. The kimchi beef rice bowl was very good as well. I've been here twice and I'm sure it won't be the last.
Tons of pick up orders while we are inside. Not a ton of tables but they do take reservations for larger groups.
Large portions, and so very, very flavourful! Would come back for more.
