Potential here, which makes this experience all the more disappointing.
The evening unraveled entirely due to mismanagement rather than the food itself. Our table’s orders were staggered to an unbelievable degree— dishes arrived 30 minutes apart. So only some of the people at the table had their dish while other did no. The time the final plate reached the table, the earlier meals were already cold or finished, defeating the basic purpose of dining together.
When we raised the issue, the explanation offered was that different chefs handle different dishes. While that may be true behind the scenes, it is not a justification customers should ever feel. Coordinating timing across the kitchen is a fundamental responsibility of management, not something that should spill over onto the dining experience.
The restaurant also appeared clearly understaffed. Service felt stretched thin, communication was inconsistent, and the overall atmosphere carried a sense of strain rather than hospitality. None of this reflects poorly on the staff themselves—who seemed to be doing their best under difficult circumstances—but rather on the systems (or lack thereof) supporting them.
This was not an “off night” problem; it felt systemic. With better staffing, clearer leadership, and stronger kitchen coordination, this restaurant could likely deliver on its promise. As it stands, however, the experience was disjointed and frustrating enough that it overshadowed any positives.
I hope management takes a hard look at operations, because potential alone does not carry a restaurant—execution does.
