Our first time here and our first time with hotpot’s. The staff were very attentive and helpful in orienting us to ordering. Food was scrumptious. Space was clean and tables were full. A fun night out with friends or family. Would definitely go back.

I’ve tried to contact the restaurant to make sure that the owners are aware of the state of the dining area— the complaint seems to have fallen on deaf ears as they do NOT care about customer well being but they care more about quick table turn around time.This review is based on the condition of the restaurant but also good to mention that the service is also incredibly lacking. Orders of food not showing up, the server took my glass along with a glass from another table, mixed them up when refilling and replaced the straws thinking that I would not notice.I have been a customer for many years but after my last dining experience I will NOT be returning. IT IS HAZARDOUS TO DINE AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. We were seated in the corner of the restaurant on a busy Friday with subpar service. It was hot, humid and muggy inside the restaurant.1. The restaurant does not have proper ventilation for the hot pots, the steam from each individual pot creating condensation with no place to escape2. Trapped condensation creates mold3. Mold was found in every corner of the restaurant and was getting damp and wet from the constant condensation = spread of mold spores.This was not just in one area as the closer I looked, the more mold I discovered in plain sight. I cannot in good faith recommended anyone to dine here as it is dangerous to consume your food in an open area with mold.If you are to take any restaurant review into consideration before dining, please take this one!Do NOT eat here for your safety. Very rarely do I write a review for any restaurants as I normally do not have much to say. But this time, the restaurant was dirty as it had mold growing near the window. The service was atrocious, as the staff “kept forgetting half my order” Twice!!! And they did not want to serve for round 2 despite paying for and being an all you can eat restaurant. Additionally the staff was rude and had an attitude. Never coming back again, which is a disappointment as I used to love coming here. Just truly disappoint in what this place has become both in service and in quality.

Within moments of entering the restaurant, a urine scent permeated the dining room. The aquarium buzzing full of farmed seafood smelled like it had experienced decades of life and death, and the overall cleanliness of the place was sticky. $50 per person blew my mind with an extra $8–10 in soup base. I got up and left the restaurant when a young man who smelled of spermatazoa came to our table and threw down sticky menus. Dark, dingy, outdated.

My friends and I have been coming to Hotpot for a very long time but tonight the service was terrible. All was going well until I realized I needed more water in my pot so I tried to wave the server down while she was cleaning tables but she walked by and proceeded to start ringing through a table of 20 instead of coming to check on us. Which then led to my broth completely evaporating out of my bowl to the point it was like a stir fry! I then had to get up and interrupt while she was ringing them through (which was quite embarrassing) and tell her that my bowl was smoking and almost on fire. She then told me to “hold on a sec”. A few minutes later my friend went back to get her again and she came back and added water to my bowl asking if we wanted more food but how was I supposed to eat out of a bowl that was charred? The entire restaurant smelt burnt and everyone was staring at us. We got up because the fire was still on and it was smoking so much. it was so unpleasant. We asked for compensation and were granted the bare minimum, we definitely overpaid for our experience tonight, and we wont be coming back!

After 3 years of coming to this location, I don’t think my friends and I will ever return. Frequently on our visits we encounter slow service - food coming out delayed, waitress takes time coming back to the table to reorder, soup bowls not being refilled in a timely manner. There is typically only one person upfront and we often give them the benefit of the doubt, as the food is typically okay.Tonight was unprecedented. We had been there for less than a hour. Had ordered food once. We were checked on once. Our broth became very low and despite numerous attempts to get our servers attention we could not get her to come over. The bowl began to smoke and almost light fire. The whole restaurant was looking at us while we were asking the waitress again to come over and help us. She told us to “hold on and wait” while she proceeded to check out a large group of people while we continued to panic and stand up around the table. She eventually came over and put more water in the bowl, expecting we would want to continue eating from THAT BOWL, and at this restaurant.We had to fight with them for any compensation in our bill and our lost meal. We were supposed to be there for 2 hours of all you can eat. We didn’t even get half of that and the manager barely gave us any discount after the fact.We will never be back. And frankly, nobody should go here. Pics to follow. The last one is what she expected us to eat after the fire.
