Great little place for cheesecake and dessert. It's expensive, but worth the money for the quality. I ordered a cake for pickup, and everything went smoothly and quickly. The staff helped make sure that the cake would travel safely and went the extra distance to make sure my experience was really good.

When I leave for work they are always sweeping or shoveling the sidewalk in front of their shop. It.s important to express the outside as well as the inside. The windows with the colorful bright creative sayings and the pride of a well kept exterior draws me to want to indulge in the atmosphere of the inside.

Amazing place for those who craving a delicious cake ? wide selection for any taste, the portions are soo big that I would be surprised if you wouldn't ask for a box? very reasonable price, retro atmosphere, friendly staff. I do recommend cheesecake ?

Used to be the best place to get dessert in Winnipeg. They got rid of their lemon torte, which was one of the best things there. Last time cheesecake was rock hard and too sweet. This time the pavlova only had 5 tiny cut up pieces of strawberry, as before it was filled with different berries. I added my own fruit to it at home. Disappointed but not surprised, as we’ve noticed a decline for a little while now. I’ve given them a few last chances, I now plan to find better dessert spots. The 2 stars is because the staff are kind and it is a good atmosphere.

Less cake for more money. I love the desserts at Baked Expectations, and have ordered from them for years. Lately I’ve been noticing that the pieces of cake have gotten a lot smaller. They also raised their prices a fair bit. The prices are understandable as the cost of ingredients has gone up. What’s disappointing is that the pieces are thinner and shorter. I think the circumference of the cakes are smaller and they are cutting more slices out of them. The cakes are still delicious, just be aware that you are paying 50% more to get 30% less cake.
