I recently tried Banh Mi Kanhoa, and while it was okay, it didn’t quite hit the mark for me. I ordered the grilled chicken bánh mì, and while the portion was generous and filling, the taste didn’t quite have that authentic vibe I was hoping for. Still, I’m glad I gave it a shot.

What really stood out, though, was their sugarcane drink. It was exactly what I was craving its refreshing, earthy, and with that perfect grassy note. Honestly, I’d go back just for that drink! Plus, their menu pricing is pretty affordable, which is always a bonus.

Best sandwich ever

Heard about this place and had to try it out. I had a large order and they were able to make it for me in no time. I was able to pick it up no problem. Parking can be an issue but we found some on the side streets. Being from out of town i would say the bahn mi is pretty good in Winnipeg! I would definitely come here again!

Great subs. Only minor errors as I ordered beef and they heard pork. Also my non-spicy was insanely spicy in random parts of the sub which threw me off. Prices are fair for what you get. Will visit again.

ALWAYS busy, clearly understaffed, no manager in sight.

Was here two years ago and loved their subs. Moved back to the city and noticed a clear decline in quality

- NO AC!! Winnipeg's summer is cooler than being inside the store. Bad experience waiting for the subs, worse for the employees who seem to be working for 8 hours straight

- Inconsistent quality, except for the cold cut, meatballs, fishcake. No comment on the tofu

- Store can use a few renovations

Previous visits were ok. Last week I came during lunch hour (bad decision) and it was PACKED. No AC making it extremely unpleasant. Staffs looked exhausted and overworked so I tip them generously. Tried calling ahead of time a few days ago and finally got the subs without breaking a sweat.

Overall recommend ordering for takeout and calling a head of time but be patient because they are always busy.

6/10 coming from a returning customer. 8/10 if they fixed the AC and the food.

Ordered their banh mi from youngs on William. I wasn’t expecting much but the first bite I took was absolute heaven!! It tasted amazing and for the price it was so great! The meats tasted so yummy, bread was very good and veggies were still very fresh. I was surprised because I wasn’t sure how long in the day they were there for. But it was still amazing!
