I've been going to Barn Hammer for experimental beers since they opened, and am rarely disappointed. My tastes lean toward stouts, which means fall and winter are when I'll frequent the place most. The space is open, the tables are spacious, and the bartenders are always friendly and knowledgeable. Tasty beer, neat building, but it wasn't welcoming at all. It didn't feel like they wanted us to be there and were pretty disinclined to talk at all about the beers they had on tap.

there is a little selection of games and some good events happening here. down side is in the summer the inside gets kinda hot, and the patio was just renovated and it is smaller and on the street edge now. bit of a bummer the last time we went there.
there is no food served here but in the summer there are some good food trucks that come around.
