Literally never had worse service. I seen my server about 2x throughout my meal, which took over an hour and a half. Took way too long to get greeted, server didn’t been introduce herself, just asked what we wanted to drink. wasn’t busy enough for the breakfast rush so I didn’t get what the issue with being able to check up on your tables was.
Didn’t see a manager help out their own staff what so ever throughout the entire meal. It took a long time to get my food which can be understandable as there is open menus but didn’t get checked up on once during my wait. Then we only got checked up on for the food when my meal was pretty much done.
And mind you , we had 2 servers throughout our experience which was fine but can’t understand how both were so inattentive.
The host was lovely though and checked in with us before leaving 🥰

The worst dining experience I’ve ever had. My friend and I came in for breakfast. the food took over 30 minutes to come out and some how items were cold, our crepes were hard tasteless. The service was awful, the server we had to start came to our table 3 times which were to bring our drinks and take our order. When the food was brought out she explained another server would be taking us over (which was fine) but we never seen her until she came to take our plates when we were finished. She did not introduce her self nor did we get a quality check on our food. It also isn’t busy enough to have such poor service.
(I would like to add this is coming from 2 servers)

I really wanted to enjoy this spot, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing.
We ordered the Eggs Benedict and requested the eggs be poached medium. However, when the food arrived, the eggs were completely hard-boiled—no yolk runniness at all. It really takes away from the dish when the most important part isn't cooked to order.
What made it more frustrating was the wait time. We waited 30 minutes for our food to arrive, even though the restaurant was hardly busy.
The atmosphere is nice, but between the overcooked food and the slow service, I don’t think I’ll be rushing back.

Dec 26 2025 front of house felt understaffed.
Sat 30min. Not even a water refill or 2nd check for drinks.
Waitresses tone/response negatively changed after we did a low tip at the end too. Should of done 0. Never saw her after initial seating.
Food was good as usual.

Writing this review to say our server Brad was AMAZING. Very warm, patient, genuine. Good service can be difficult to come across, and he made the whole dining in experience a stand out and memorable. Kudos to you Brad!!

My one gripe is that the side toast portion that comes with skillets is cut in half recently, so you get a teeny tiny slice of bread on side where it used be two. Seems unnecessary by management and overall very weird thing to do.

Food was sub par for price. The potatoes were hard and tasted too fried. Was a chain churn and burn feel for breakfast. The fresh squeezed OJ was amazing though! Had much better places in town this week on my trip.

The food is solid, exactly what you'd expect from a good Western breakfast. What really stands out is their staff, they’re friendly, attentive, and constantly checking in to make sure everything’s perfect. A reliable spot for a casual breakfast or brunch!

Ellice location
Really disappointing experience today.
I used to like this place, but after today, I’m seriously reconsidering. We arrived early—around 9:45 AM—and the place wasn’t even that busy. We were a group of 5 and waited for over 30 minutes, just standing there with no updates, while plenty of empty tables and chairs were visible on the left side.

We asked three times if we could be seated, and the response was vague every time. First server briefly spoke to us, said “just a few seconds,” and never came back. No eye contact, no follow-up, no apology. Another 2 server I ask if there’s available table for 5. It really felt like we were being ignored because we were a party of 5, as if that was somehow a problem for them..

What made it worse is seeing other customers—who arrived after us—getting seated right away. If there’s a wait for larger groups, just say so! Don’t leave people standing around unsure of what’s happening.

Eventually, we gave up and moved to Pancake House, where we were seated immediately and treated with 100% perfect customer service. That’s how it should be.

I pointed to a picture on the menu and my food looked exactly like the picture. Everything tasted great and service was very friendly.
