If you want service that says "I don't give a crap about you" you've found the right place!
The atmosphere here is about what you'd expect if you've ever been at B&F, but just more apathetic and condescending attitudes from all staff.
The food is par with Denny's, slightly better than 7/11 microwaved breakfast, but not much; a massive disappointment if you know what B&F's standards are.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews and other than today have had a good experience at this restaurant. Today I went with my boyfriend and the service was awful. The waitress took our order and drink order which was fine. When the food came and I took a bite I felt as though the sandwich smelled a bit fishy which I understand could have been the egg or the bacon. However, the waitress never came to check on us once our food was given to which I kindly would have explained that I wasn’t crazy about it. She brought us two waters before the food came and never asked if we wanted to refill our drinks. At the end she asked if I wanted a box for my uneaten plate and when I said no she never asked if there was something wrong with it as you should normally do in service. It felt like she didn’t want to do her job that day or maybe she wasn’t experienced in proper service steps. Really rubbed me the wrong way that I had to pay for food that I didn’t even eat.

I always enjoy visiting Ben & Florentine I tried it for the first time when I was in Montreal and found the winnipeg locations when I was there visiting family. This restaurant is always a 10 when I go. Hopefully we get one out in Calgary one day. We are definitely missing out in this area.

I recently visited Ben and Florentine for the first time, and it was an incredible experience! The food was absolutely amazing—every dish was packed with flavor and freshness. But what truly stood out was the exceptional customer service. Our server, Melissa, went above and beyond to make our visit special. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. With such great food and top-notch service, I will definitely be returning. Highly recommend this place!
