Never again Never again small portion on the skillet and egg was burnt bacon was black vegetable charred no service added holiday sauce had none on it when it came out the only good thing was there hash browns

Went with my 9 year old daughter. She had the S'mores Crepe and I had the Big Ben. The Crepe was really good and the fruit was ripe and fresh cut. The Big Ben was cooked perfect. Our favourite part was the hashbrowns. Crisp on the outside soft on the inside and nicely seasoned.
Our server, Nobarun, did and excellent job.

How to start well I didn’t even get to make an order because of how bad the customer service was YES I understand it busy it is 1120 am and I can see how busy they are but when you don’t greet meet or explained I’ll be with you in over 5 min you kinda wonder what’s going on then after 5 min this man comes over asked the group with kids before me how many and then walks off he’s sits them about 3 to 4 min after he greeted them he then comes back to the hostess counter at the front and say to the girl in front of me wait a min and looks at me and ask what I need I said I would like to place a take out order he then looks up doesn’t say a word and walks off he’s comes back 3 min later sits the girl in front of me and tries to hand me a take out order I then which reply I haven’t order it yet I tried explaining I was calling before and tried skips the dish and door dash so I wouldnt be bugging them at there busiest time also I order from this restaurant all the time because you can order from calling the store directly or all these place for pick up and always friendly service and staff but not this time all he’s said very rudely was can you not see that we are busy want do you want and hurry up I’m sorry but I’m not going to be talk down to like that when I was just saying i understand your busy I call the other location in the city to find out if they are all owned by the same person I was told no they are not and under description the person asked me they said that probably the owner so owner who was so rude to me I will never go back I will tell friends family and customer to go to the other location since you were so rude today

If you say you close at 3pm, then actually close at 3pm. We arrived there at 2:25 and were told we could not be served because the kitchen closed at 230. But does it? And if it does, put your hours as closing at 2:30.
I have zero respect for restaurants that operate this way. It just looks lazy. If you're a business/waiter/cook, how do you not want revenue from food bills and tips? You would rather end your work day 10 minutes earlier than make tip money? Okay. Then I'll boost another business up and ghost yours from now on.
The overall experience was not great. I went with my mom for breakfast. Our meal was very good and we were both happy with it. Especially the alcohol-free pina colada, very tasty. They cooked my moms eggs exactly how she requested. However, the place was incredibly busy/loud and they seemed understaffed. We waited quite a long time to have our order taken. The staff were polite and kept apologizing for the wait. They were doing the best they could under the circumstances. An item was missed on our order but the server was able to remove it from the bill. There are only 2 stalls in the women's bathroom with one of the two being an accessible/wheelchair stall. This seems like a small number compared to the capacity of the restaurant. There was an additional unisex bathroom, which helped. I would not go back if I am with my mom due to the lack of accessibility for those with physical disabilities.

This was thr first time that I was at Ben and Florentine. I took a group of 4 decision makers for breakfast on June 12, 2025. I noticed that in the restaurant, there was also 2 other tables of 4 people. So, althoughter there was 12 people ordering. We were the 2nd group to be seated at 7:10 am. It took 1 hour for our meals to be served just after 8:00. I asked the manager how many people were preparing meals and there was only one kitchen staff. Breakfast meals are not entrees and the owner not sheduling enough staff or staff that multitask and help in the kitchen is poor planning. Bad experience.

This location gets a 3 star because the menu on their website does not reflect what is available in-store. We specifically intended to go somewhere that serves mimosas (it says so for the Regent location on their site), but they are not served at this location.

My friend recommended this restaurant to me a long time ago, since then it's become a place my family loves going for special treats. Good food good service good vibe.

This is the first time we have been to Ben & Florentine and we were impressed with the service and the distinct food. We were able to have food that we have not tried before which is a treat from having the things that you would normally cook at home anyway. We would go back again.
A healthy and modern dining experience. All the food is fresh and delicious. This is a must recommend for impressing family and friends.
Horrible service I don’t think they want people to dine in the restaurant because they will leave you standing for 20 plus minutes before anyone even acknowledges you and seats you. Thats just tells you what kind of service you’re in for.
