I have to say this place is very hit or miss. I ordered the bulgogi as it looked quite delicious from their photo in the menu. When I received the bulgogi it looked anything but delicious. The meat was drenched in some sauce/broth; It looked soupy and gross. The meat looked like it was boiling in a pot overnight as it had a crumbly texture and little to no density to it. I also ordered shrimp tempura and I bit into one of the shrimp and it was not de-veined. After that I was not wanting to carry on finishing the meal. The service was also subpar as my partner received their meal first and there was about a 10 min gap before I received mine.

I recently had a disappointing takeout experience here, leading to my two-star rating. I ordered the Sakedon and the Korean Seafood Kimchi, and felt the overall value was not worth it. (About $38 before tip)
The Sakedon was underwhelming. For $18, I received a very small portion with just five pieces of salmon sashimi on a thin layer of rice. While the taste was decent, the size and quality didn't justify the price.
However, the Korean Seafood Kimchi was the biggest letdown. The tiny container was almost entirely filled with raw shaved onions, with very little seafood. The sauce was good, but the overwhelming amount of onion made it difficult to enjoy.
In addition to the food issues, my order was not ready on time. I was told it would be 20-25 minutes, but when I arrived 35-40 minutes later, it still wasn't ready. The staff seemed a bit frazzled, though they were friendly. Overall, the combination of subpar food quality and poor service left me feeling quite disappointed.

Only gone here three times but every time I’ve gone, the foods been super great, service is quick and polite, foods comes at a reasonable pace (4 - 10 minutes) and price (~$20 for a meal) the noodle meals are super good too!
Friendly staff and delicious food!!
The best tteokboki I ate in Winnipeg!
It was to go and I ordered online. I was late to take my order but the staff was kind and quick to help me even tho it was 2 min before closing time.
May look expensive but the serving is generous !

Easily the worst sushi I've ever had.
Food..omg.. The spicy garlic fried chicken...Wow. everything is perfect
My fave Korean Restaurant in the city! Their kimchi is one of the best. And the Korean fried chicken mouth watering
We celebrated my brother's 13th birthday at Bimi yesterday, the lovely staff gave him a special sushi cake with a green candle on top and played the 'happy birthday' song in the background!
It was so heartwarming to watch and my brother was beyond delighted and surprised by the kind act! He devoured the cake and has never been happier :)
The staff are incredible and show impeccable hospitality, especially Kevin who is always taking the extra initiative to make sure that we are always leaving the restaurant satisfied.
Thank you Bimi, for the memorable and beautiful night. It was truly a night to remember-- especially for my little brother :)
Food was good. BUT we waited almost 2 hours after we were seated. Our food was basically can be done in 30-45 mins. I dont think frying tempura, spring roll and katsu would take 1.5 hours or putting together bibimbap. We did not even get a menu when we were seated. The table beside us gave their menu so we can look at it. Its rediculous.
