Hands down the best sushi in Winnipeg. The fish is so fresh it must've been caught today. One piece here is 2 pieces anywhere else. You will not be dissapponted.

Still one of Winnipeg's top choices for Sushi. Nestled in the heart of the exchange district Bluefish never disappoints. We enjoyed a set menu of dinner for two (should be for two days) that included their signature flaming scallops. Generous portions, professional service and great food!

Best restaurant in the exchange. Good when you have theatre tickets Service can be spotty , if really busy. Took 20 minutes to get first beer. In order to get 2nd beer , had to ask twice

Our first time last night and it was wonderful. We enjoyed all the food we ordered and even me who's not a fan of raw foods, I liked their fresh sushi. The tempuras were awesome too! We got to meet new people as well.

Understaffed. Had to wait too long to be seated for our reservation. Server didn't hand us menus until about 15 minutes after seating us . Didn't take drink orders the entire time we sat waiting at the bar. Reached over people seated to hand dishes out.

We always enjoy our meals at BluFish, and last night was very good once again. We had six items, and the only one that was a little disappointing this time was the shrimp dish....H - something Ebi. We have had it a number of times before, but last night it was not as good as usual, but overall, the meal was once again very delicious.

We tried here because we saw lots of 5 star reviews as we love trying Japanese restaurants., we're very disappointed to celebrate Valentine's Day date here . Poor service, we waited more than 30 min for our orders, server didn't get all our orders. No checking how's everything. Price is not even worth it on their rolls and nigiri (shown in the picture)and soft crab. Soft crab is too salty. Our favorite appetizer in every Japanese restaurants is agedashi tofu, they didn't meet our expectations. Thin or too small. Miso soup? 3.35$ small portion and nothing is wow! One Good thing are their bento boxes.Paid 200$ and unsatisfied.
The food and service were fantastic. I am celiac and they were able to provide 98% of their menu gluten free as well as very safe food handling practices.. We will definitely be back :)

Not sure how this became highly recommended but the service specially at peak occasions are very bad. If you are a restaurant with good reviews and cannot service a family table well at peak times means you have bad service. We are a family of 7 with 4 adults and 3 kids and left waiting for 30mins to get our orders. Food is definitely priced too much for the quality which makes it even more confusing. Our host/server could not even get our orders straight. I ordered 2 agedashi tofu and got 1. Ordered one of their signature rolls but served us a sashimi dish we did not order. The nigiri sushi crumbles and not made well. Better of eating it with a spoon. Just a bad experience overall.

The food was pretty good, the service took forever, I get it was busy, only problem is I have been in dining place where the place is about 20 times larger than this and usually packed. Yet I would have lots of sushi put on the table in 3 min or less. The table space was small, and well, it felt like you were far apart from your friends when you sat across from each other. My friend and I waited 30 min for our dishes to come out, and not all came out, and we did not get all our dishes. We got a discount but still paid over 73 dollars for 5 items and water. If we ordered another thing, we might have waited another 30 min.I would not be going back was not really impressed.Parking: I think it's ridiculous in paying for parking late at night when you are already paying for other things. Also, doesn't our tax money pay for all that?
