A nice little spot with potential! Overall the BB was not too bad, they miss in a few key areas.
Parking is tight but manageable, might have to walk a little, but not bad. Greeting once inside is very good, as long as it's not too busy, it can get congested there and cause a little impatience. Seating is fine, not spectacular, not horrible, but fine.
It appears to be a local watering hole, lots of hellos, nods and winks bouncing around as people walk in, cozy that way. The food, well, they almost got it right. 19$ Meatball appetizer, spot on, delicious! Arrived on time, hot and fresh, beautiful! From there a downward slide. It appears the restaurant has a time management problem. I watched as folks arrive, place an order and from there it's a mix of timing mishaps. Some tables are good others are angry and disappointed. We placed our order at 1720, 1830 it arrived looking a little old. Food was hot, it spent a fair amount of time under a heat lamp for sure, disappointing. It was ok. If it had arrived when it was cooked it would have been somewhat better, but still lacking in general, not quite right, but not too far off either. The folks next to us were angry, didn't receive some mains after waiting over an hour. They paid for what they received without any compensation being offered whatsoever. Their last words before leaving were it's an end of a bonfire era. Unfortunate.
It appears to be a modestly busy place, which is good, but it could be so much better with just a few touches here and there. Unfortunately, I would not recommend, nor will I return. Good luck BB!

My wife and I called in a pick up order for the Mac 'n' cheese and Seafood linguine, $31 & $33 respectively. When we got home with our order, we were both a little disappointed. Each order seemed pretty small, definitely like what you'd expect with an abbreviated lunch size order at the most. Generally speaking, pasta dishes at restaurants are served with garlic bread or something but all we had was two small cardboard containers with each of the pastas. It certainly didn't feel like a full dinner order. Having said that, the food was quite good! But it's a little disappointing for us to both finish our meals still hungry. With tax and tip, we spent $80 and I just feel like that we shouldn't be looking for food at home after eating. It's unfortunate but at least we enjoyed what we did get. And just to be clear, we eat out a lot all around town and don't expect or even want an egregious amount of food when we order, the combined amount of pasta in both boxes was a reasonable meal for one person. With so many options for great food in the area I feel like we would likely not order from here again, despite the good quality and flavor of the food

This has been a friend's favorite restaurant for many years. It has recently risen to one of my top ten favorites in Wpg.

Went for lunch and had wonderful experience. I had the goat cheese and beet salad and spicy la bomba pizza. Both were delicious. Salad was very awesome. Cheese and crust were perfect on the pizza. Great place to meet and catch up with a friend during their lunch service. I think they have a new chef and love their food. Highly recommend!

My family and I have been coming here for years. If we have friends in town, this is where we come to eat and visit with them. We are all so comfortable here. The servers are lovely and have been there a long time... speaks volumes!
Food is consistently delicious and good value. Our fave dishes - beet salad, seafood soup, chicken with figs... yummmm! If its super busy (weekends for sure) sometimes the service is a bit slower then usual but it's worth the wait.
Highly recommend! Bon appetit!

Our food today was really bad. The soup was sticky and had clumps of power in it. We threw it out. The Greek salad was missing cucumbers and the chicken fettuccine alfredo was meh, no flavour. 3 tiny pieces of chicken. Not worth the $100 we spent! Very disappointed. Won’t eat here again.

It is ok. Currently in the restaurant as I’m writing this. Wait time was horrid, ordered a little after 7:30, received meal nearly at 9. I think Kraft dinner mac cheese is definitely more worth it than what I ordered here. Some of the noodles were al dente and others soggy. I ate it all because I was hungry from waiting. You can tell it’s all made in house though, the pizza was good! Wouldn’t dine here again, especially with a party of 6 for a birthday celebration. Aside from the house made food, the inside is also clean and presentable, which is why I gave it a star over 1.
Edit: Currently still in the restaurant waiting to pay and leave. After asking the other’s their opinions on their meals, the said pizza was ok, but not for the price. “Pizza tastes bought from superstore”. And there was a lack of spices and flavour on all the dishes.
Second edit: I changed it from 2 stars to 1. After debriefing with the rest of the party on our way home, we truly did not like our meals. There were some bites that seemed promising. And I personally thought the mushroom pizza was good, but after a second thought it was because my order of mac and cheese was that bad.
They did have a lot of customers so I know they won’t miss or care about us not coming back. Nothing wrong with the service I’d say, waitresses did their jobs. Wait time and taste of food isn’t their fault.
To those who did enjoy their food, I’m glad. We have been to plenty of other restaurants with way better food. We originally wanted to dine at Kevin’s, it’s what we should have done. Love that place!

Grest little restaurant. Must reserve as quite busy. The food was great but took a long time to be served and a long time waiting for our meals once ordered. I had the spicy potatoe soup, with a side ceasar, which was quite good. My friend had a pizza, the taste was good but its more of a very flat bread than pizza bottom.

Food is good but would not recommend for the large groups (over 10). Takes longer than an hour to get food and it’s coming out slow. So first plates are already cold by the time the last person gets the food.

I have frequented this establishment a few times over many years and it is still the same drab lack lustre restaurant it has always been, only still in business because of its location and regulars. Having servers not seat me but just point to a table, telling me to read the specials off of a dirty chalk board in the far corner, having to ask for water, cutlery, and being served by people in sweatpants are just a a few of the negative experiences. The food while tasty at times, is inconsistent. My husband and I both ordered the salmon, when they ran out of the vegetables they subbed in different ones without a mention. This establishment has the opportunity to be better but chooses not to.

Used to go regularly about a decade ago. Tried twice again in last 6 months and its very different. Feels cheaper ingredients, more additives. Service and atmosphere still very nice and a busy neighbourhood hangout but food quality not up to par…for our taste.
