Have been going here long before new ownership. Inside needs some renovations, [at least clean and repair the booths]. Skip the
Spring Rolls as they have zero filling.

The food was great, there was no waiting but the place and dining area where huge. The lines at the buffet where a bit long but moved quickly and food was replaced quickly when they were getting low. Will definitely go again when back in town.

It's a very mid buffet. Fit for casual chat.

The food, service, and atmosphere aren't special, they just exist.

The place doesn't really any pros or cons against other AYCE buffet locations which is good since mid = good place for casual chat

The buffet is reasonably priced. It offers a variety of dishes, including salads, soups, desserts, and traditional Chinese food. I went at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, and there were few people. If you don't know how to eat, it will be difficult to get a second dish. If you eat a lot of fat and sugary drinks, you won't get past the first dish. 4 adults.

Just ok. Pricing is on the cheaper end especially for dinner hours, but you pay for that in reduced food quality and limited variety. The only real standout items were the lemon chicken and crispy chicken, everything else was just average, some subpar. I can accept that you are effectively paying to sit down and eat catered Chinese food, but when things like the dessert selection consist primarily of store-bought box cookies and bear paws you have to wonder if the tradeoff is worth it. Might be worth the lower price for some if you are trying to pay $20 to eat all of your meals for the day in one sitting, but if you are looking for a one off dinner for a rare occasion I would say you're better off biting the bullet and trekking down to St. James to go to Ye's Buffet, even if you have to wait for a table there. One thing I will say is they have a pretty decent selection of soups here which most buffets don't bother with. If that's your jam you might find this to be a silver lining that brings you back. It's also unfortunate that you have to pay extra for soft drinks but the prices are low enough that it wasn't a big deal for us.

Beyond the food, while the overall atmosphere is a bit dingy and the aesthetic is quite drab and overdue for a makeover, the dining room is quite large so you likely won't ever be stuck waiting long for a table like you often are at Ye's and I had no issues with the wait staff and speed of service.

They have a good variety of dishes to pick from. Not the best but it’ll get the job done if you’re hungry. I go here frequently and have booked space to host parties as well. Lately the cleanliness has gone down and I think they need to focus on cleaning the tables better and replacing their booth seats. It felt disgusting eating and looking at all the gross leftover food and whatever on the walls, table cloths and booth seats. Yuck.

Not a lot of options and the food tastes mediocre but considering the price, I believe it’s pretty decent. Their battered shrimp was delicious tho and the staff is friendly. Per person it’s about 20 bucks when you order a drink on the side.

Not senior friendly. Not inclusive to those with physical limitations. Management will make them sit in areas difficult to maneuver/store wheelchairs and walkers. Food is mediocre. Decor and furniture are old, broken, and need renovations.
