I love C.Jay's Cafe. Today was my first time there. I had just finished visiting Dr. Levi on the 2nd floor and was about to go down the stairs to the main floor when I noticed C.Jay's further down. I was immediately greeted by C.Jay himself with a smile and a cheerful welcome. He asked if it was my first time because I did look a little bit confused. I asked for eggs and toast, and he made me a delicious egg and cheese sandwich. I also enjoyed my coffee. I will definitely go back and recommend it here. It's clean and bright and spacious with a nice outside view of downtown.

Yummy burgers 😋🍔, and I can't wait to try those chicken fingers next time I'm there! #Burgers #ChickenFingers #Restaurant #Food #Treat. Super friendly staff and owner!
my boyfriend and I have always wanted to come here because my nickname is cjay so it made sense to check it out. It was fast service, they were SO friendly and knew that we were new too. We both got hot drinks, i got their peppermint hot chocolate is probably the best one i’ve ever had. will be coming back for more!

Nice quaint cafe. Food was fresh homemade and very tasty. The chimichurri sauce was the perfect addition to the homemade beef pies. Will definitely go back.
Update. Came back today for their famous fish curry. It is a game changer. The fish was perfectly poached in the curry sauce. Also came with a homemade samosas which was also very flavorful especially with the homemade tamarind sauce.

I was looking for a place to buy lunch and figured I would go out of my way to avoid food chain places while the building where Jay's cafe is has been under construction. Jay has not disappointed. This place is a hidden gem and the quality of food here cannot be compared to a franchise. The daily specials are fantastic and I have yet to have a bad meal here after dozens. The one review on here that gives Jay only two stars suggests they stopped in for dinner and the price was over $100 per person. You can safely ignore that review because in 2024 Jay's specials are between $7.99 and $9.99. Oh, and this place is not open for dinner by the way...Those false detrimental reviews are why I sold my own restaurant when google "experts" can determine the outcome of a hard working person in the food industry. Jay's little cafe is off the beaten path and entirely worth visiting.

If it was possible to give 10 stars, I would.Delicious and affordable food with good variety and extremely friendly owners. This is the kind of small business that deserves all the success in the world and then some. They have made me a regular.

I used to work across the street and went almost daily. Friendliest guy you'll ever meet, I hadn't been in almost 2 years he still remembered my order and made a curry chicken sandwich just for me because he stopped selling them before.
Vegetarian options: Sells multiple vegetarian food options if you don't eat meat.

I came here for the first time and it was AMAZING!!! Staff was friendly and fast. The food was excellent and the empandas and sauce is to die for.
They are very welcoming and foods gave me the vibe of homely cooked food back in Bangladesh. Everyone must try. Food are delicious and price are very fare.
WOW - I just had homemade empanada's from here and my life has changed for the best. They come with a sauce of fresh herbs and the perfect amount of hot pepper heat... fantastic! Loved them.
