I was looking for a place to buy lunch and figured I would go out of my way to avoid food chain places while the building where Jay's cafe is has been under construction. Jay has not disappointed. This place is a hidden gem and the quality of food here cannot be compared to a franchise. The daily specials are fantastic and I have yet to have a bad meal here after dozens.The one review on here that gives Jay only two stars suggests they stopped in for dinner and the price...
If it was possible to give 10 stars, I would.Delicious and affordable food with good variety and extremely friendly owners.This is the kind of small business that deserves all the success in the world and then some. They have made me a regular.

Update. Came back today for their famous fish curry. It is a game changer. The fish was perfectly poached in the curry sauce. Also came with a homemade samosas which was also very flavorful especially with the homemade tamarind sauce.
