We were so looking forward to experiencing this quaint little French bistro. Overall it was lovely, the drinks, the food, the ambiance. The mussels were amazing and so tasty though the sauce could have been thickened more. The Beef Bourguignon, sadly, was disappointing. Nothing at all like a traditional beef stew - no vegetables only meat in a thin flavourless sauce. The search continues for an exceptional Bourguignon outside of Paris

Nice food, cozy spot.

So sad to hear they're closing. If you have a chance to experience this quant little French restaurant before June 1 (I think that's the last day) you totally should.

Sadly this restaurant will be closing June 1,2019 due to health issues of the owner. May open again in the future.

Vietnamese-Canadian chef run French joint offers bistro stylings and very traditional Gallic items. Escargot, coquilles, rabbit, beef bourgignon, you got it. Nice wine list that goes to the new world as well. Warm decor, good for smaller intimate gatherings. Chef works alone but very efficiently.

The food was fantastic. I ordered the stuffed mushrooms and the prosciutto wrapped scallops. I would have preferred the prosciutto to be raw instead of grilled but it was very good. The ingredients were fresh and the preparation was indicative of a talented chef. However, I was displeased with the experience. I was seated, my order taken. As I waited for my meal, a couple came in am sat across from me. They ordered about 20 minutes after me. They received there food before I saw one of my appetizers. The gentleman complained about his mussels and received and entire SECOND order of mussels before I got my food (only 4 scallops). The waitress apologized for the wait. I could've complained like the gentleman across from me who got an entire order of mussels on the house. I did not. I paid my bill, tipped the waitress and left. I will not be going back. I go to places like this for the service and delicious food. If they drop the ball on one of those, they've lost my business.

The outside of this French restaurant looks quite rundown. However, the inside has recently been revamped so it is decent. The restaurant itself is quite small so it's always best to make a reservation ahead of time. We have been here a few times, the food is alright, the service is always meh because there's generally only one server on staff at a time even for a Saturday night. I try to come here just for desserts because they have a decent selection of homemade cakes, pies and crème brulee. At our most recent visit, we were very disappointed with the service and the food, which made us to have zero desire to ever come back again. We ordered a Charcuterie board and it was a mistake. On the menu, it stated that there would be 4 types of meat. We only received three. The board that was served to us consisted of Prosciutto, Roasted Beef, Salmon (raw not smoked), Pickled vegetables and Chutney Sauce, which we were told was cranberry sauce. We were unimpressed with the service overall. #1) we were never informed that the kitchen ran out of cured meat prior to placing the order. We had to inquire about the missing ingredient of the order after the Charcuterie board was served. Even then we were told that we only should get 3 until we proved it with the menu, at which point the server said oh, well that's why the portions are larger (they weren't by the way). #2) We were told that the Charcuterie board came with cranberry sauce. We found that it was in fact chutney sauce after trying it ourselves. We were very disappointed with the service overall.

Great food, prompt service and the prices are very reasonable given the fine quality of the food. Very intimate restaurant with a limited number of tables.
