My family and I tried Café Lemontree for the first time today for lunch. We were actually the only customers for the entire morning (other than a few to go orders) until 1:30pm. The atmosphere is cozy and quiet but a tad on the dark side, with minimal lighting. We enjoyed reading the notes on the paper ‘lemons’ as well as taking a look at the knick-knacks scattered across the restaurant. The food is overpriced, $29+ for a dish that only came with 6 Tokbokki. I went at night, and the dim lighting made the atmosphere feel a bit depressing. Maybe it’s better to visit in the morning just for coffee, but it’s definitely not the place to go if you’re really hungry.
CAFE LEMONTREE! What an absolute gem. The staff here are unreal friendly, attentive, just genuinely happy to see you. You walk in feeling like a customer, but two minutes later you feel like family.
