I wish I had learned staff names but we were welcomed by the nicest most positive male host who seated us at our favourite type of table on the patio. This was around 8pm on Tuesday Aug 19. Our server was lovely as well! I ordered things a bit ‘specifically’ as I’ve been there a lot and my kids have specific tastes (like easy on salt for S&P wings etc) and the kitchen made the food absolutely perfectly.. just a great experience!! Thankyou! ❤️❤️💙💙💜💜
The best part of Cafe 22 is definitely the style and atmosphere. The serving staff were also lovely. Unfortunately, there was nothing special about the food - maybe it was an off day or I picked the wrong item, but it was the worst fettucini alfredo I’ve ever had. The sauce was actually watery, and the taste just wasn’t there. Wasn’t too expensive, though. Also would have expected cleaner/nicer washroom, considering the rest of the interior was very stylish.
There are not enough stars to rate this restaurant. I would personally give them 9 stars for food and 10 stars for the service we got from Zach our server. My wife had the Calzone,and I had the best Pizza I have had in Winnipeg. The restaurant was surprisingly quiet considering it was almost full. I will say that Cafe 22 is a premier restaurant in Winnipeg and if you get a chance...check it out.
