Shoutout to our server last night. she was an angel. I lost my wallet and she called us back to let us know they found it. She was super nice. She’s the best. Thank you! I didn’t get your name, but I just want to say you’re the best!

I did not dine in but a family member got the birthday cake slice dessert as take out after dining in and wow this was delicious. It had caramel and cookie crumbs on the side. The cake itself has a nice thin layer of chocolate on the outside and vanilla and chocolate icecream between the cake. It was absolutely delicious. The cookie crumbs added a nice texture. It already tasted good without the caramel. Highly recommend this dessert.

The food was excellent. Salad and lamb meat balls were superb. Pasta was very good. Service was excellent. We were given great advice for the desert which was outstanding. A very enjoyable evening.

Overall our meals were absolutely delicious! We waited over 20 minutes for someone to come take our drink order. It was very busy and seemed under staffed. 50 minutes still waiting for food. We will return.

Excellent place, service and food. The Fett Chile and crispy shrimp appetizer were delicious for both my dad and I. An excellent way to celebrate a birthday.

Out for a date night. You know the place is good when it's packed in a Monday night. Amazing service. Excellent food. The Spag Boo was just as good as I remembered it. A great place to eat out.

We found Cafe Carlo to be so-so. The room is very loud and the tables are close together. We shared the prawn appetizer. The prawns were good but there was barely a hint of ginger in the dipping sauce. My husband had the meaty rigatoni which was disappointing. There was no depth of flavour - we have made much better baked pasta at home. I had the chicken pesto which was good. Overall we felt the food would have been better if they leaned into the flavours rather than going light on them. Service was mostly good although it felt like the server had too many tables. Having one more waiter on the floor would have improved the level of service.
Overall this is a casual spot that didnt live up to its reputation. It’s adequate but not great. It’s not a date night spot unless it’s a first date and you’re trying to keep it low key.

10 out of 10, as always! The Tenderloin was cooked perfectly and the Fett Chili is a classic! Wine selection was super and dessert (Chocolate Oblivion) was the perfect way to end our meal. Service is fabulous! We love Cafe Carlo and you will too <3

I found all of the dinner- which included pre dinner cocktail, entree and recommended wine - excellent as was the service. Did find the gingerbread intense (was a darker gingerbread than I was familiar with) however I had excluded the caramelized banana topping which may have offset the intensity

Really enjoyed ourselves. Food was outstanding and we got to know the people at the table next to us. Great time.

A warm cozy intimate atmosphere with terrific staff and a great, varied menu. Part of what makes a great neighbourhood is having a local 'place' and this is a terrific example of that. Perfect for a special occasion or just a nice night out.

No matter what you order, everything is awesome and staff is amazing. This is our go to place for all special occasions.
