Busy but Useful Campus Hub

Campo at the U of M’s University Centre is a super convenient spot for students, staff, and visitors. It has a great selection of food options like burgers, poutine, Afro-Caribbean meals, Subway, and more.

The atmosphere is lively and it’s a popular place to meet friends, study, or just grab a quick bite. It’s also connected to the campus tunnel system, which is perfect in winter.

Pros:
• Wide variety of food and services
• Mobile ordering available (very handy!)
• Close to everything on campus – bookstore, UMSU services, and convenience store
• Lots of seating areas (if you’re lucky to find a spot)

Cons:
• Gets very crowded during lunch or class breaks
• Food quality varies depending on where you go
• Sometimes some food stalls are unexpectedly closed, which can be frustrating when you’re hungry
• Seating fills up quickly, especially in winter

Overall: A great place to hang out and grab food, but not always 100% reliable if you have your heart set on a specific meal.

The food is very hit or miss here and the service is often lacking. I have had an employee at the pizza restaurant refuse to give me the sauce I paid for! I asked why I didn’t get it and she said that I didn’t know what I was talking about. I really enjoy the poutine at the grill and their burgers are usually quite juicy and flavourful. I love that they have a wide variety of toppings, and subway. The only places that I would fully recommend there are subway and the grill. Though I haven’t tried every place. It is extremely crowded there so it is best to take your food to go. As a student I eat there weekly and I can say for sure that, as with most of the campus stores, service is where they lack any skill.

This food court has eight different restaurants and a convenience store. All of which have different hours and offer completely different kinds of food. It is a very handy central location, and has a central seating area. It's very busy and often the hallways host booths of different student groups or businesses handing out information.
