Had a gift certificate gifted to me by a friend and I had never heard of this place prior. So I help off going until I had a reason. I am happy I did. Everything about this place was awesome. It wasn't super busy when we went. It was just after lunch on a Wednesday. Our servers name was Stephanie. She was delightful. We wanted to try the apps like we din most places and they were spectacular. I've attached some photos to see. This is a must visit spot. I will return the favor and buy a gift card for a friend who has never been until everyone's heard of this Jazzy spot.

Our Go-To place in downtown Winnipeg. A short hop from home its where we go for dinner or a Caesar under an umbrella to watch Winnipeg pass by. Excellent food, fantastic service and great prices. The view of the Fort Garry Hotel while sitting outside is rather pleasant as well. When downtown, try the Cap.

After two weeks on the road, we were staying in downtown Winnipeg on a Saturday evening looking for something a bit different, that would interest us after lots of eating out. I did a Google search, the menu seemed promising, and I called to see if we needed a reservation. From that call all through the end of our meal, the service was terrific. We got useful information on local craft beers, received a great recommendation on the rigatoni with braised short rib (outstanding), and my wife said her Capital Market salad was one of the best she'd ever had. We got there just over an hour before closing, but did not feel rushed. They were nicely busy; if full, I suspect the indoors seating might be a bit loud, but the patio is a nice option this time of year. Try it!

Our first visit and had high hopes! Great atmosphere, was greeted nicely and the food came super quick. Unfortunately the food really lacks in flavour. My husband had the fish and chips ($26) and unfortunately pretty basic (I realize it’s a basic dish but some places are super tasty!). Our server was friendly enough however never came to check on us once and was just resetting tables the whole time, without even looking our way. We then sat with our empty plates for awhile…and when collected we weren’t asked how our meals were.
Perhaps other dishes are tasty and it is a cute space. We likely won’t be back, however :/

Had lunch there recently. Restaurant was lovely. Service was great. The steak salad was amazing. So delicious. I was full, but could have eaten more. It was just that good. Steak was cooked perfectly. The salad and the dressing was delicious.
