100% LOVE this place but it would not be the same without the main gal - Lana! (Hope I spelled that right!) She is the server, bartender and keeper of the place. So full of energy, friendly and can handle it all on her own - she's amazing.

Been here many times and anytime were are in the area we pop in, will be sad they are closing with the renovations. Their Chicken fingers and fries w/honey dill and gravy are super yummy and a great price!

Ceasar wrap is good as well but we are suckers for the chicken fingers lol!

All I can say is whatever employer gets to pick up Lana after this is super lucky because she is amazing on all levels and super loyal (been at this location for 30 years she said!) Gonna miss her more than the chicken fingers!

Had the grilled-chicken wrap and the server was friendly as can be.

Amazing shrimp pad Thai and great service.

Really delicious Fish and Chips!! Their french fries are absolutely outstanding too. If I have to go to the bank around portage I always make a stop in here and have never been disappointed

Took onion soup, after Santa parade. It was so salty we had to leave it on the table.

What a secret little gem. Food was delicious and great price for portions. Great family environment. Great view. Outstanding service. Will recommend to everyone. I'd show a picture but we ate it so fast. We had poutine and chicken fingers and fries. We just stopped in for a simple bite after the Santa Claus parade. (It was crazy busy in here before this. With good reason. It would be the best view of the parade. ) I am going to come back for the Korean food. I was with some kids who were plenty happy with the fries and fingers.

You should have holiday drinks such as hot spiced or mulled apple cider. With option for garnish such as cinnamon sticks, nutmeg, orange rind, orange slice, chicory, agave.

Restaurant food quality is surprising high, I was not expecting the food to be as good as it was.Lots of seating, unfortunately it’s location is inside portage place mall downtown.Cheap drinks and meals for around 11$ with fries.Service is great, when I went there was a mix up with our order and I had got a poutine instead of fries accidentally, they didn’t charge me for the poutine.Would eat here again.

Lana the bartender is great I have been going there for 15 years there have a few owner s over the years but the service has always been great

Nice little place and the waitress was fantastic! Good food and great service!!

Staff that helped with food was very nice and professional even when our plans had changed and had to leave much earlier. However, waitress that served my boyfriend and I wasn't even wearing her mask when she took our order. Made me very worried, then as my boyfriend went to pay for our drinks she wasn't wearing her mask as she was preparing drinks, and was very rude to us. Didn't really care much for that ?

The best chicken strips I've ever had !Big portions. Friendly, outgoing waitressIt's not crowded here either.I had sucha lovely time yesterday hereI will definitely be returning !!!
