I am beyond disgusted with the experience I had at Chicken Chef on Main Street. This place has fallen off a cliff since my last visit. I went in today, excited for the meal I remembered from 2024, but what I got was a slap in the face. The wonderful, friendly service I used to receive is gone—replaced by slow, indifferent, and downright unfriendly staff. It was a complete night and day difference, and not in a good way. And the food? Oh, the food. It was an absolute travesty. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich, and the chicken was a rubbery, tasteless disaster. It was like chewing on an eraser. The bread, which should have been fresh and soft, was a dried-out, stale husk. It was clearly old and falling apart before I even took a bite. The fries came out cold and lifeless, as if they had been sitting out for an hour before being served. And the gravy—the one thing I always looked forward to—had absolutely no flavor. It was just a lukewarm, brownish liquid. This entire meal was a complete and utter failure, a painful reminder of how much this establishment has declined. I will never, ever be returning, and I will be telling everyone I know to stay far, far away. Save your money and your taste buds—this is no longer the Chicken Chef you remember.

This place has really went down. Got a 9 piece today for 46 after tax (I paid extra for no wings) the skin on chicken is all soggy the fries are soggy no crisp to them. You get pretty small sized fries and gravy but most disappointing was that the coleslaw tasted like its expired? Or they're using a pretty foul tasting dressing for it. I was disappointed before but thought I'd give them another shot but never again. Do better for the prices you charge!

Ordered 9 piece bucket. Both chicken and fries were barely warm. One piece, the keel, was burnt on one side. The rest of the pieces were dry. We’ve had good food in the past but definitely not this time. I phoned to complain and was not treated well. Will not be going back.

Got charged 61 for a 3 peice they return the money. I run back to store cause they messed up payment again and said they forgot to charge me at all to find out again they ripped me off and charged me 35 for a 3 peice meal this place is ridiculous and un-educated at their job on top of all this running around when i get home finally its cold so annoyed and pissed off .... after all this you would think it would be free.for me running back and forth for their mistakes of charging me 2 times wrong on my card .pathetic.worst location ever and their hrs are stupid seem to be never open now i know why last visit ever would never recommend get bent

The food quality is also equally remarkable doesn't matter how many times you're going. 'Must try' if you are looking for an authentic fried chicken with delicious bunch of side items.

I had an amazing experience at Chicken Chef! The food was absolutely delicious – the chicken was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. I tried the signature fried chicken, and it was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The sides were also fantastic, especially the mashed potatoes and coleslaw.
