I had a bad experience. The chef will never agree with the costumer. I said the staff of the kitchen weren't cooking . They been laughing, I wait a lot of time my food was overcooked. I will never go to this local restaurant.

I love going to this place with my family, the food is delicious and they have a great atmosphere. Something I have learned is that if someone prepares your food with love and joy, it is felt. I would like to know what happens in the kitchen, the times I have visited this restaurant I hear people laughing and I can feel this happiness in the preparation of the dishes I have tried. I've been a regular at chicken chef in Charleswood, and can't recommend it enough! Every time we order, we're consistently impressed by the quality and taste of their food 😋. We usually go for breakfast during the week. We went today (Saturday) and my omelette was so greasy, I asked for bacon and sausage, it was not the same as the bacon and sausage you usually get with the regular breakfast. But it had overly salty sausage and ham, not bacon. I had to find the waitress to tell her, and ask for a box for my partners food. She said she would get the manager to take it off the bill After we packed his food, I went back up and she said the manager wouldn’t be able to remove it for 5 mins…..so I ended up paying for a meal I didn’t eat 🤦♀️ Terrible customer service and the weekend staff clearly need some training

Horrible customer service! I typically go to the location on Portage Ave (by Unicity) because they are always so kind and food is always amazing!! My mistake for wanting to stick closer to home. Will for sure drive the extra 4 minutes for better service and quality

Ordered a Chefs combo pizza and the fish snack... both were delivered quickly (via DD) but the food was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! The pizza was excellent (requested ham instead of sausage and easy on the mushrooms), the fish and fries were hot, crispy and perfectly flavoured (as in, not tasting fishy), especially with the fresh slices of lemon provided. Will absolutely be ordering again. Well well done, especially on a Friday evening!

So I attempted to place a take out order today, as my husband and I were coming home from a day of fishing and did not want to cook. I called the Chicken Chef on Dale Blvd to place my order. They took my order and then proceeded to tell me that because my order was over $30, I would need to provide my credit card over the phone. This has to be the most ridiculous policy I have ever heard of, and why should I trust Chicken Chef with my credit card number. This could be justifiable if I was placing a large order, but this was two individual dinners.You should close down phone orders or state this on your website so people can be informed.
