Great Chinese food but pick-up and delivery only. I pre-ordered the previous day and everything was ready when requested. We enjoy ordering from China Garden since we're familiar with the food and we're never disappointed.Parking: Their parking lot is small so I always park on the street.
Amazing food!! Now my family’s new favourite chinese restaurant! sweet n sour chicken balls are a must and the spring rolls are HUGE and homemade. Definitely will be ordering again and again.

Got delivery for 5:15 , 5:45 I call to see where our food is. They say it's on the way. We are 4.9 kms from the restaurant. I see a vehicle but it goes into the neighbor across the street, then pulls our and into the driveway beside us, then across again. We were flicking the outdoor light on and off to try tohelp but it didn't seem to help. Finally they drive into our driveway and they get out and ask the address. They then take another 5 minutes to get the food out of the vehicle and to the door. The order was $150 and free delivery for under 5 kms. They charged me $3 for being over the 5 km limit, when I googled it it said 4.9 kms. Also there was no white rice in the order. I was mad. I phoned and they said it was 5.1 kms so no free delivery plus extra charge but they gave me free fried rice. They didn't tell me I was getting free fried rice and they don't send white rice when they give free fried rice. Never ordering from China Garden again.Rant over

Where to start... Ordering was a challenge. The person didn't understand me and I couldn't understand him. But once the painful ordering process concluded I received our order in less time then quoted. Of course I was excited. But this is where everything went down hill. Our order was wrong. We didn't get three items we ordered and was missing a second item we ordered.When I called in it got so much worse. I had to explain what happen over 20 times. So of course I got angrier and angrier. Once again English isn't understood very well. Having to repeat myself more than 20 time got really frustrating very fast. After texting pictures of what I ordered and didn't receive, I thought things would get easier. But they didn't. I was beyond annoyed at this point. I had to repeat over and over and over and over and over etc what I ordered and what was missing. The person on the other end just couldn't grasp what I was saying. Finally after about 15 minutes of back and non understand forth she said she would bring what was missing. I agreed.The food that we did receive was delicious as per usual. But since we had to wait for them to return and sort this out our food got cold. So we had to reheat everything. This was our family get together with our family for Christmas. It is always a challenge to match up working schedules. We are really disappointed with this Epic failure. Not sure if we will order from China Garden again. There are other options in our area. I guess it is time to start trying other place.I guess what really further made me upset ? was it took them a long time to show up to fix things. We did give the driver 15% tip as we normally do.They did give some of our money back that covered the price of the missing items. So I guess I had to give 1 star for service.

I was a royal customer for china garden for more than 20 years but I decided not to order food from China garden anymore tonight because fried rice looks like soy sauce with 10 peas in it and the rice does not even mix very well with soy sauce so I can see white rice here and there. For honey garlic chicken turned into brown sugar and no garlic chicken. It is very different food quality from previous one.

Just brutal. The bean curd and beef dish was so extremely foul and sour and not savoury sour, but rotting sour. The egg roll and spring roll were drenched in grease worse than a greasy pizza. The bbq pork tasted stale like it was old. The soup was salty as all heck like someone dumped in the salt shaker. Just can’t ever order from here again and a hair to top it off in the noodle dish so sad :( and skip the dishes only gives back 25%. BRUTAL! Hopefully not everyone’s experience though

I’ve been coming and ordering from this restaurant for 40 years. Always excellent food, consistently done very nicely, whether it’s eat-in dining or take out. Honey garlic beef is outstanding and I’ve been to many Chinese restaurants across Canada and none do it up like this restaurant does. Will keep coming.
