We love Chop and went here for our first steak dinner 10 years ago and often go for our anniversary or my birthday (Valentines Day). The food is always amazing and so are the drinks and seevice! Yesterday (March 29th, 2024) was our 10th wedding anniversary and my hubby surprised me with a reservation for 6pm. We went, were seated, and a waitress came by and tapped our table as she was walking by and abruptly said "I'll be right with you guys" and kept walking. When she returned, she seemed put off. No smile at all and not friendly whatsoever. Not sure if she was having a bad day or what but you can't bring that to work. It was not busy at 6pm. Didn't talk much nor have much info about the menu to offer so I asked a nice gentleman that was walking by and he was so friendly and helpful. When she did come and take our orders, she seemed confused and kind of all over the place. We ordered French onion soup to start and only mine came (someone else brought it). I told the person my hubby had ordered some too and she said okay. Still nothing. Another gentleman was walking by and I asked him to check on my hubby's soup. Eventually the waitress came and said she somehow accidentally entered it to come with the entree. They finally brought it out but I was finished mine already. Pretty dissappinting. Our drinks took forever but when we got them, they were delicious. Soup bowls sat on the table forever and never asked us if we wanted more drinks nor more water so we had to ask ourselves when she eventually came back. I was feeling angst and envy watching all the amazing servers with the tables around us; the experience we are used to at Chop. It was frustrating. We were spending good money and expected good service and did not get it. When our meals came, she had forgotten to enter thr peppercorn sauce I ordered and I'm assuming the shrimp, because they both came 10 minutes later after me asking where it was, and it was just kind of thrown onto a plate and my steak was sitting losing heat while I waited for the sauce. I asked for more water and called her over to ask for another drink. That took forever as well. So odd. No dishes were removed from our table throughout the meal and it was getting crowded and awkward, so I asked another gentleman if he could take some away. The people we asked to help us were amazing. We could see people being brought desserts that said Happy Anniversary, Happy Birthday, etc. on their plates and I heard a waiter tell their table it was complimentary. Our waitress had gone to get our bill and package up our leftovers so my hubby went and asked at the front desk about the dessert. Suddenly our waitress returned and said "I heard it's your anniversary so you get free dessert, I'll bring you a dessert menu", then another gentleman came and explained to us that we pick a mini and share. Super nice touch with the card but not when you felt the whole time you were there that you were a nuisance to your server and they couldn't give us the time of day orngetnus out of there fast enough at the end. It was just so strange and disheartening. It's not like we were at some cheap, family restaurant. We were spending good money and looking forward to an evening out together but instead felt like we weren't welcome. At least the food and drinks were good when we did get them. It'll be a while before we return.

We just had a reservation for my Daughters Birthday Celebration, all her guests were very happy with the food and service. We had the room that can accommodate 14 people and had the private dining room for at least 3 hours. Would definitely recommend it!

Just got off my flight and decided to give chop a first try and wow will I be back. On top of the great food suggested by my server Dani, her enthusiasm and attentiveness was incredible! I can’t wait to be back and definitely will be requesting Dani as my server!!!!!!

Experience was excellent ! Ordered Avocado bowl with a request for blackened chicken and blackened shrimp and it was fantastic! Service provided by Kathryn was excellent and I was taken care of well. Would have been nice if the dining area was open till 10 pm at least ..otherwise all great !

A very disappointing dinner on Thursday evening . The evening started out great with a great server ( Ally ) and an even better appetizer ( goat cheese and mushrooms ) but went downhill drastically from there with the arrival of the prime rib ,the highlight of the dinner plate was the baked potato . The vegetables were undercooked and hard to eat and the prime rib was abysmal in that it was dry and tasteless with a huge amount of gristle and fat .Very disappointed in the meal and the reaction to my complaint , under the circumstances I think that at a minimum the manager in charge should have at least addressed my problem personally.

Sorry that they have remodelled and removed all the draperies . Was such a quiet and relaxing atmosphere before. Music was far too loud everywhere in the restaurant. Great staff and service as always. Received an anniversary card signed by all the staff which was really lovely and personal touch. Also a free desert which was recommended and fabulous

We had a reservation for 6 to celebrate a birthday. We arrived well before our reserved time but had to wait.. no problem. Once our reservation time arrived, we were advised our table was still occupied. The staff decided to seat us in the lounge in order to accommodate. Although the lounge was a very appreciated compromise, it was found to be quite busy and therefore noisy. Not the most ideal setting for the two small children in our group. The food was good but not the usual great that we had come to expect from previous visits to Chop. My NY steak was grilled to my liking but was tough to chew. Others in our group were equally not as impressed as they were on previous visits. Overall, we will visit again however, just not with a larger group of 6 or more.

My first time at Chop. We were given the wild mushroom and goat cheese dip appetizer to try, it was amazing! My ribs were very tasty, my friends steak was very good. The Creme Brulee dessert was delicious! Will definitely be back. The service by Sophia was awesome!

First time there for happy hour, server was sweet, friendly and engaging. Drinks were amazing. Not many places make the old fashioned good but I'm amazed and enjoyed my drinks.
