My daughter and I live out of the Winnipeg area in a small town. I had never heard of such a thing as a cat cafe lol Mya wanted to go though because she loves cats so we booked it. Her mother was in the city getting out of a surgery as well. We still get along great. The atmosphere was quaint and relaxing. The antiques, old pictures and stain glass all worked together somehow. I really enjoyed petting the cats with my daughter. They are rescued animals and they are all adoptable. She wants another cat but we will see. The cat room was clean and tidy. The staff was very friendly and polite. The coffee was very good too. I would highly recommend this as a good romantic date or place to take someone. It’s not expensive and very chill

We saw the ad online, and my daughter was excited to visit. The ad didn’t mention there was an entry fee, but when we arrived, we saw the prices: $13.50 for adults and $10 for children, which didn’t even include a simple black coffee. We love cats and were looking forward to this, but not enough to pay just to enter. At PetSmart, for example, you can go in and enjoy the cats for free. We were ready to buy coffee, desserts, etc., but it felt strange to pay just to enter. In the end, we left, and my daughter was really disappointed. Clearer advertising would be appreciated!

Very small room. Tiramisu 8.50 is very expensive for such a portion... The coffee is similar to Tim Hortons. We didn't like it.

Nice decoration.
Staff polite but nothing more.
We ordered a cheesecake (definitely not made by them, not bad but industrial), and a hot chocolate.
I liked the milk art (sorry, don't know what it's called) but it was well made and cute.
I have been to cat cafes before and the cats were always in the main room with the people enjoying their beverage and pastries.
Not there. You have to book and pay to be able to spend an hour with adorable kitties who don't want your pets because they are harassed all day long. Understandable.
As people are completely focused on them and not also enjoying their tea and a pleasant talk at the same time.
They also sell random cute cat stickers, 3 for $1 (probably got them for 10x cheaper on a Chinese app like I did)
And cat prints (the art is not theirs) for way too much.
So yes, it's for the money and it's too obvious.
I had a good time because I was in good company and it's always nice to see cats, but it was our first and last time spending money there.

My son just loved the cat room. He keeps coming back to play with the cats. I really loved the style of the place. The designer is a master! It remind me of the West European style cafes like somewhere in Hungary... I definitely want to try their coffee next time.

Kid-friendliness: It's the best for kids to see the cats and spend time with them!

Love love love the vibes in this cafe. The interior is stunning. We always come for just the drinks. The best spot to sit is right outside the cat room where we watch everyone have fun with the cats. There’s also cute cat themed stuff to buy near the counter

Cleocatra, the cat Cafe. It's a really relaxing place where you can play with a bunch of cats and relax. See them roaming around you. It is quite soothing. There are all kinds of cats and of different ages. I loved the idea. You feed them play with them. Also after that they have a cafe where you can do some activity like coloring or make some figurine and have some refreshing drinks. It's a perfect combination of relaxation and enjoyment. Plus it's quite cheap. Nothing expensive. Moreover they are getting people acquainted with cats and some people go on to adopt those cats, helping winnipeg humane society and those cats. The cats find their humans and a home. It's a really good place with a good cause and a good environment. Should definitely visit.

Really cute atmosphere, and lovely kitties! However,
We arrived 10 minutes late trying to find parking, and when we inquired about drinks, the employee was a little passive aggressive telling us we arrived late and shouldn't be ordering. We understood, but felt it was a bit rude in how they said it. Perhaps some information on the website about coming in early before the slot to have drink would have been nice for first time visiters so we can plan accordingly. It got crowded at the end and so we couldn't get anything to eat or drink as we hoped. A bit disappointing. Otherwise nice experience after the initial rocky start.
