Delicious, the sushi melts likes butter. We had a good variety of specialty and regular rolls. There was nothing to improve.

After waiting for 35 minutes and $70 later, this is the saddest chirashi don and tuna donburi I’ve ever had. A couple of people came after us and they were served first. This is my first time ordering from here and unfortunately this will be the last.

Everything I've ordered from this place over multiple different orders has been delicious! It's a bit on the expensive side for winnipeg sushi but it delivers on taste and quality. They have great apps, great rolls, and a crazy amount of unique and tasty special rolls you won't find elsewhere. It's a small spot so you need to check the hours before ordering as they can be closed unexpectedly sometimes. Overall one of my favorite sushi spots in the city!

This is the place to find some of the best sushi in Winnipeg. Sadly, even though the pandemic is over, they still haven’t returned to normal dine-in service. Who wants to eat at home? My wife and I like to go out for dinner almost every weekend. We would probably go to Co-en Sushi at least once a month if they treated their dine-in customers with a little more respect. Instead, you have to order at the counter, pay up front, pick up your food, eat it off paper plates with plastic cutlery and dump out your own garbage. You might as well eat at McDonald’s. The food is great but until they go back to normal dine-in service, they won’t be seeing much of us.

Coen Sushi is the best sushi we had in Winnipeg. The staff are friendly and professional and the food is always excellent. Once my wife and I discovered this spot, we didn't eat sushi anywhere else in the city during our time. I can't recommend Coen's enough. It is simply excellent.

We came in at 545 on a Monday evening. Only two tables of people inside. First words out of the mouth of the woman behind the plastic screened cash register was “you eat here must come get the food yourself. No server today. You will wait long time. Very busy” not very welcoming. We left. Might be good food. Not sure.

The owner have just changed a week ago and the place is nothing but a surprise. The quality and the quantity you get out of this store is amazing, with the money you are paying. The chef has 10 years experience and the quality is guaranteed! because of this, there are almost no waiting time. Store is also very clean and great for some quite and quality times. I strongly recommend this place for anyone who's out there looking at this!

It is a long due review as I have been going to Coen Sushi for 4 to 5 years now. Coen sushi is the best and only sushi place I go to in Winnipeg. Countless other sushi places disappointed me. Coen ingredients are fresh and delicious. The portion is generous. The end pieces of the sushi roll are packed with ingredient. The combination of ingredients and sauce match so well together. The rolls are thin layer of rice wrapping a mouthful of ingredients. The rice is seasoned with sushi vinegar. The owner is hardworking and nice. I would give 10 stars if I could.
