Cottage bakery is located on Pembina Highway in Fort Gary. It is an absolutely great place to stop by for lunch or a quick snack. They offer many things, including poutine, fries, burgers, but they specialize in sweets and pastries, including cookies – oatmeal, chocolate chip as well as lemon cake, apple strudel, croissants, and many other pastries. Very high-quality bakery overall. There is seating inside for about 20 as well as an outdoor patio. There is free parking outside...
Found this shop completely by accident, and so glad I did. Their iced mocha is excellent, and my partner raved about his medium roast coffee. The selection of pastries is overwhelming but they are fresh and delicious. I ended up purchasing one of their fresh baked loaves of bread and a Saskatoon pie and am excited to try both! Service was also great. Can’t wait to return on my next trip to Winnipeg.

I love Cottage Bakery! Their cake was super delicious — seriously one of the best I’ve had. The staff were super friendly and kind, and the whole vibe of the place is lovely. Their breakfast stuff is amazing too. Totally recommend it to everyone!
