This place has great food, but the service staff is equally bad, even worse. Feels entitled for some unknown reason
Two women behind the counter. One- kept eating the whole time while cleaning cutlery, handling food for people. No gloves, nothing. No washing of hands. Felt like a sweatshop thing, can’t you take a 10 minute break to finish your meal instead of touching your mouth/cleaning it with the back of your hand and then handling my food and cutlery with the same bare hands? Complete eww.
Second woman- *Running out of honey crullers, I ask do you have more getting ready? Replies,”Oh, i’ll have to ask, but anything, if it’s coming will at least be 30 minutes”. I pay for my stuff and have a seat and within 2-3 minutes comes the new batch. You don’t work on an acre big campus! All you had to do was turn around and ask.
Such lazy staff.
I wonder what the owners are up to with a staff this lacking in etiquette.
I know this is harsh, but your place has begun to feel expensive instead of costly now. Drove 50 minutes for this experience. 😞. Used to be a regular.

A classic in the making. Sheesh! Find yourself another spot in Canada where you can get an outrageously good croissant and a lunch special tortellini en brodo in the same order… this is the type of establishment that puts a city’s food scene on the map.

They definitely need more tables, even in the aisle way. The food is delicious! The donuts fresh and pillows, love them. Just can't afford a dozen.

I have literally been pushed out of the coffee shop after working on my computer there, despite spending $15. I went there every Saturday for a year, spending my money and even bringing friends along. And for what? One worker came up to me and told me I’m no longer welcome to work on my computer there! I was only using one small two-person table.
If money is more important to you than loyal, regular customers, you can be sure neither I nor my friends will spend another dollar in your establishment. Such a sad example of customer service. It’s a shame, because your food is good—but not enough to bring me back anymore. Enjoy your “free” table.
C’est vraiment dommage de toute ma vie et de tout les cafés que j’ai visité je n’ai jamais eu une personne me demander de partir pour libérer une table car j’avais un ordinateur. Je suis littéralement choqué de ce comportement.

I'd rate higher, but it's too damn popular, with too many people ordering before me, it's unfortunate that they've completely sold out in front of me twice as I'm in line, but good for everyone else who gets their grubby little hands on those sweet 'nuts. I haven't had Andy's lunch though, but I promise I will next time I'm around.

A neighbour kindly brought me a couple of pastries to try today, and they were spectacular! The lemon cream filled bun was the probably the best pastry I’ve ever had.

A must try if you are in Winnipeg! You can find unique, original bust most important , delicious flavours. Try the pistachio mortadella sandwich and their apple fritters.
