The amount of filler in Dairi-Wip burger patties has increased over the years, so they really don't taste as good as they used to. Too bad cuz this place used to be my fave burger place on the planet. I highly suggest the owners return to an all beef patty, it really made a difference in the flavour of your burgers, duh?!

Tried the fatboy burger and it’s good, but the fries were superb! They fry them in beef tallow, which gives them an incredible fatty taste … reminds of good old times when vegetable oil was not a thing. Bottom line is the French fries are a must try.

Great burgers, fries, and shakes. Reasonably priced compared to other similar drive-ins. Friendly staff and fast service. Definitely recommend for classic burgers and fries and the milkshakes are huge.

I have had so many fat boys at so many different burger places in Winnipeg, and Dairi Wip is the standard they are all held to.
Many have come close, but none have beaten it.
Edit: A year later I have tried about a half dozen more fat boys from different places, and this review still holds. Nobody beats The Wip.
Edit 2: Another year, another 3 fat boys tried from new restaurants. Nobody. Beats. The. Wip.

This is a big disrespect shown towards someone picking up order from your store . No one is so idiot that they will throw phone at your face. Don’t forget that you are getting paid due to someone buying and ordering from your store. Be humble and polite with your customers. But worst restaurant note i have ever seen .
Very fast service. Prices are on par with other establishments. It is a classic drive-in restaurant. No inside seating. If you are just wanting ice-cream, there are better options in Winnipeg.
