We dined there during the dine out Winnipeg event and loved it. It was the best tasting food we had during that event and the best food we’ve had in a restaurant for a long time.Went back there for lunch the other day and wereallowed to order from the dinner menu and again, delicious beautiful food! We had the Truffle spinach dip, bang bang shrimp and the Seoul steak, pictured here.

I've been here multiple times. And yesterday, we came here again for Valentine's dinner. They have never disappointed us. We tried the dine about winnipeg's 3 course dinner. And it was amazing. My bf and me were both happy with our meal. One thing I would say is their seoul steak tasted a little bit too salty for my liking. Yes, it was a sweet sauce but it felt like there was so much sodium on it, that after a couple bite, you would feel like you have enough of it.It also amazed me how much they listened to their customers reviews as well. The price on the menu has dropped a bit compared to before as people always said their food is too pricey. But at the end, it is worth the money you paid for, the dishes are exceptionalHighly recommend the scallop pasta and their sushi rolls!!!

Amazing and Great Tasting Food at a reasonable price! Loved the taste, the plating and the friendliness of the staff... Our orders did not take too long to prepare as well... We will be back to try out other food on the menu soon... Highly Recommended!

My date and I had some time to kill so we tried Damecca Lounge for late lunch because it was nearby. Man, am I glad we did! The food was fantastic and very reasonably priced. we got to talk to the chefs a little bit because it was a slow time. We tried the chicken pita, with no exaggeration it was the best thing I have ever eaten. Im told it is a limited time item but im really hoping they keep it! Absolutely have to go try it and convince them to make it a regular menu item. Thank you Damecca

Jan 6/24 - approximately 7pmDefinitely caters to younger demographic. Came in restaurant that basically was empty and was told (by the hostess) they were awaiting some reservations so they were not accommodating, not even suggesting there is a wait, etc. We were a party of two. Looking at several empty tables, my husband inquired again, "you don't have room for two ppl?Somehow they magically found room for two ppl with still several empty tables around us and tables clearing. Caters to a demographic of which seems like "regulars" that order numerous alcoholic beverages. By the time we were finished dinner the nightly entertainment was arriving and only the middle (larger) tables were occupied and still several empty tables. This place was recommended and was a disappointment. When restaurants have hostesses, be sure that who meets you at the door is someone that can represent you well. Based on the hostess 0/5. It was only our server was good - 4/5. Food, was okay, nothing outstanding. However, based on our reception at the door, we would not recommend nor return.

Hands down the best food Ive had in Winnipeg!!Truly exceptional food and fair pricing. We started with yam fries (highly recommend!!) we later ordered the Honey in Heat (Chicken Burger) and the Seoul Steak. Both of us were blown away by the flavorful explosions. Will definitely be coming back to try more! Thanks for providing us a great meal for my birthday dinner ?

+.5 for serviceI went here a couple months back with my friend thanks to stumbling across its Instagram page, in addition to some local food blogs. Damecca seems to feature a bit of everything in terms of cuisine, as the menu options range from pasta to sushi.I had the mushroom truffle pappardelle, with scallops added. It was really good! The grape tomatoes were an interesting add I must say. There definitely was some fusion involved in some of their creations.Service was excellent here. Given the diversity of cuisines here, I'll definitely return to try something different.

Rude server. On my birthday we decided to dine in. When we didn’t tip, she said “wow, no tip” and rolled her eyes at us with attitude. She showed us her true colours. Money can make her greedy for sure.

It truly guts me to knock this place, as I recently moved to Winnipeg and this place left me with such a great impression since day 1. In my opinion, it was hard to find good restaurants but this place was GOOD. I loved the Truffle pasta, sushi tower, beef tartare, truffle fries, and ESPECIALLY impressed by their amaretto sour.I’ve come here for lunch/dinner numerous times. But after my last visit, I decided it’ll probably be a while before I come back. I’m big on customer service especially because dining-in is a treat, you pay a lot of money for one meal, and in my opinion, the service is just as important as the quality of the food.1) My friend ordered a Caesar, we all noticed she was chewing more that sipping. Turns out there was way too much pepper flakes or whatever they use which she was not a fan of. So we kindly asked if it would be possible to get her drink re-made without it. I also expected my whisky sour to be just as good as it usually is - but it just wasn’t. The whole drink was off but I figured, maybe it’s a one off and they’re training a new bartender. No big deal, so I drank it anyway.2) The beef tartar had a hair in it and we actually didn’t say anything.3) This was the tipping point for me. The truffle pasta came, and there was a dried up, EATEN, chicken bone at the bottom of my bowl that I found when I started to mix it, this was just after my first bite. Because of how our experience started, I felt obligated to bring this up to the waitress. She asked me what I wanted, and I said “I don’t know, I really want the pasta because it’s the main dish I get there but I think the kitchen should be aware. If it’s possible could it be remade?” She told me to give her a few minutes to ask. I was shocked at her response when she returned. SHE ACCUSED ME of the chicken wing being mine. Even though I didn’t order wings, yes - there were some on the table - we were a table of 6. But everyone knew I never had any wings for it to have been mine. ALSO, I found the bone as soon as I got it and my friends sat infront of me witnessed the whole thing happen. RIDICULOUS approach to accuse and deflect in a situation like this. She continued to say, it was not the kitchens fault, and I said there’s no way I’m eating it and don’t think it would be fair to have to pay for it (which I did). In the end they remade it but it followed with our table pretty much being avoided the rest of our time.Annoyingly enough, I got a call from my dad who asked if I could pack some food for him to try, because he’s never been there before. So I planned take home some of my pasta and a few wings. At this point I had to order wings by another server since our original server was avoiding us. By the end of dinner and chatting for a while, I realized my wings still haven’t come. When I asked about them, they said they never put the order in. Miscommunication on their end. Obviously with my dad expecting me to bring home wings and pasta, when they asked me if I still wanted them I said yes. I ended up having to pay FULL price for wings to-go ($16.99! - when they would have been half price if I got them on time)My meal in total individually was well over $100 (including tip-yes I tipped, because I’ve been a server before and was mindful of the size of our group). Although I was disgusted and did not like how the situation was handled AT ALL. I also am not the type to cause a scene, or ruin the experience of company at a dinner party. I definitely internalized a lot of my frustration at the time.I’m not one to write reviews often. But considering I never had the opportunity to speak to a manager. I do feel this needed to be shared and or addressed. Also, not sure if this is relevant or not.. but I noticed I enjoyed my experience here every time, up until the owner or one of the owners left. This could be a coincidence but I just hope that the new management of this restaurant doesn’t end up ruining one of the best restaurants in Winnipeg. The service was really disappointed, and I left feeling robbed.
