If you're looking for a no frills, old school breakfast joint, this is a great candidate. For some reason this place reminded me of being having breakfast at Perkins. Food overall was really good, hollandaise was just good, and prices are reasonable, so I can see why it's so popular. The restaurant had a steady stream of customers and service was friendly. Coffee was good and portions were generous. Would definitely consider coming back when we're in the area.

Nothing fancy, just great, basic breakfast food for low a low price. This is where older folks and farmers go for coffee, good quality food, and conversation, and that says a lot for what you’ll experience. When you need a filling, tasty breakfast, consider Dawning.

Good food, very welcoming to all. They're accommodating and will do what is possible to meet your needs. Booths can seat 4 adults very comfortably; I've seen them happily put tables together for a group of 10-12.

One of THE best hometown breakfast diners I've ever been too. The food was beyond spectacular, I had the pancakes and bacon and my partner had the farmer hash, which was on special! Both meals were amazing. The service was just what we loved! Not invasive but super friendly and accommodating! And the atmosphere was likr an old mom and pop diner which is super welcoming and homey.

Overall I loved our experience at Dawning and we'll definitely be coming back!!

Thought we try a local eatery. My only gripe I have was, I ordered the Spanish Chicken Omelette. I was expecting actual chicken. Not sliced chicken lunch meat. A bit of a letdown. Everything else was fine. The service was great!
