“It’s been a while since I have gone here as I used to live two blocks away. The pricing is fair considering you’re getting a lot of fresh butchered and sometimes smoked meat.
Their black forest ham is to die for!
The store is quite crowded with a lot of German touristy Items you can buy so it’s not great for people with claustrophobia. But other than that, the staff is friendly, food is great and if you’re just walking by and they happen to be smoking any meat, you will smell it outside and it’s great!“

“Really love their cabbage rolls and sweet and sour meatballs. Also had their colesaw...tangy and refreshing. Cabbage rolls are great, rice is and fluffy and cabbage is tender. Very tasty. Staff member at Regent ave. store counter friendly and helpful.“

“My husband failed to remember the name of this epic delicatessen when we were visiting from Nova Scotia 2 years ago. I'M SO GLAD HE REMEMBERED THIS TIME! A sandwich to remember! 200g, your choice of several kinds of delectable meat stacked between delicious rye, your choice sauce, served hot or cold, and a fat delicious dill pickle on the side. The atmosphere is original as it was when it opened in the late 50s! And the gentleman that owns it was incredibly generous and inviting. He immediately met us with ice cold bottles of water (very hot day) and cookies for the kids for dessert and a little bag of candy on the way out the door. So very kind of him to give these things to us. I will absolutely be back, especially for that deadly looking brisket sandwich!!“
