I go to university of Winnipeg. I ordered the Cajun quesadilla and it was the greasiest thing i have ever eaten in my life. Taking a bite of the quesadilla was equivalent to taking a sip of oil. It was disgusting. I have yet to actually enjoy food from diversity food services, and I’ve been attending school here for 3 years now. I have no more patience with the food here, I know now to walk across the street to subway instead, even in -40. The grease even got on my phone camera for this picture.

They were very reliable, easy to connect with, organized, listened well to our needs, and everyone LOVED the food. We are a vegan & gluten free couple so they really went above and beyond. Management is trash, the executive chef has, on multiple occasions vocalized racial slurs (including calling rap and hip hop n word music) in her work place to her employees, and when called out for it, went to great lengths to justify, rationalize, and be completely unapologetic about their incredibly racist and inappropriate behaviour.The majority of the actual staff are wonderful, which almost makes managements behaviour worse since this company is part owned by two inclusive driven companies and is well known for hiring new comers to Canada.

They are scammers, couldn’t pay me my money back for a grocery order (cancellation). I wanted to use my gift card code online, did everything in the instructions sent to me by UWSA and manager called me saying that I had to pay in cash, not card, which NOONE told me about when I called/in the email sent to students.Then he goes : we can’t cancel your order… it’s already prepared. I said: in your mobile app it shows that my order is not “being prepared” yet as a status, which he just didn’t respond to.Manager was not nice at all! Very bad customer service!

Diversity catered a training workshop I attended recently and I was super impressed with the food! They put together a taco bar that was perfect for the variety of food restrictions that existed throughout our large group, it seemed like everyone was able to put together a meal that they enjoyed and could safely eat. I appreciated the effort that went into making sure that the ‘alternatives’ were equally delicious compared to the standard options. The food quality was great, everything tasted good and felt fresh and filling. The fruit in particular was great, everything was perfectly ripe and super flavourful; I often find that pre cut fruit trays can be quite disappointing, but that was not the case! It was the best fruit I’ve had in months, definitely an unexpected highlight.I was a University of Winnipeg student and didn’t take full advantage of having Diversity Food Services on campus, but I’ve always been impressed by the consideration for environmental impact - I believe the first time I encountered biodegradable serve-ware was through Diversity!

Worst burger I have ever had in my life. Hands down. Could not believe how dry the burger pattie was I needed to chase it with water. Also, the way they constructed the burger looked like they did not care at all, missing onions and 1 pickle end. Gross.
Too expensive like… im already struggling for tuition and then they r charging me insane amounts for small portions of suboptimal food ?

I reached out to Diversity Food Services to see if they could deliver a birthday cake to my daughter who was living away from home to attend university during Covid. It was her 20th bday and I wanted her to know her family was thinking of her. Kirsten was so amazing and kind. She wasn’t sure if her chef was available but assured me that she would make sure our daughter got a bday cake. Then, when she delivered it to her she added a beautiful bday card, balloons and even sang her happy birthday. I’ve never experienced that level of customer service in my life. Thank you so much, we will always remember your kindness.
