Tucked away gem in a corner of an otherwise inconspicuous mini mall, hidden behind the main St. Vital mall. Very tasty decadent and creamy no-bake cheesecake ‘pucks’ with more flavours to choose from than you could try in a single visit, or even multiple visits for that matter. If eating in, give those pucks time to thaw and soften for best foodie experience. Friendly staff and has hot/iced coffee and tea options too. A ‘locals know’ study space with coffee and wifi in an area of city that is lacking in cafe options to have a sit down. Definitely recommend visiting the location to try the no-bake cheesecakes and of course stay for a cozy space to sip an espresso or latte while you visit friends or quietly work,study, or read.

The "variety" frozen cheesecakes are DELICIOUS!! Double D's also offer seasonal special flavours, so you always have lots to choose from. The service offered by Inho and Angela is attentive and always friendly. A great place to buy the best frozen desserts!

I have been looking for a cake for my daughter's birthday because we don't like too sweet flavors. Seeing that there are cakes for diabetics here, I guess the others may not be too sweet? So I tried to order and pick up the variety pack here. After tasting it, my relatives and friends all praised it for being so delicious! I don't know what words to use to describe it! By the way, I also want to thank the store for the thoughtful little card. We will continue to try other flavors here in the future!

We ordered for the first time while we were in the city for the weekend. We ordered the three minis: Banana Cream, White Chocolate Raspberry, and Mint Chocolate Chip. They were all so good we had a hard time choosing a favorite, but agreed that for us, it was the banana cream! Originally tried ordering on Skip, but were too far away, luckily we were able to get them through DoorDash! They even included a cute handwritten note with the order which was a very sweet touch!

I have been coming to double d's coffee shop for the past couple weeks to study with a classmate. I've heard of their famous cheesecakes but never previously tried any. I ordered an iced matcha latte (with oat milk - yay for dairy-free options) and a mini pistachio cheesecake. The cheesecake was AMAZINGLY creamy and my mouth waters at the thought of it... I know what I'll be ordering when I go back to study this week. Everything was delicious and you can tell the staff are passionate about the business!

I overheard the barista apologizing to some customers because it took a long time to make their drinks. The customers were so kind and told her they were happy to see the place so busy (the place was packed - I've never seen so many people in there before).

I love studying here because it's quiet and the vibes are cozy. This is my new favourite study spot!!! Thank you to the owners and staff for providing such a lovely place. 💗

London Fog was one of the best I've ever had!

Friendly service.
My review may be based more on preference. I purchased a 9” cheesecake for a birthday. While the cheesecake tasted good it was more of a refrigerator cheesecake and not a baked cheesecake. I was told it would unthaw in 15 mins which should have made me think. It did somewhat unthaw but it was drippy… not solid at all except for the inside that was still frozen.
For $35 I would have wanted something more like a NY cheesecake. Ah well should have read more.

Wonderful little dessert shop! Don't live in Winnipeg but i will be going back next time I am in the city! The woman who helped me, can't remember her name but she said she was one of the D's in Double D's. She was amazing and her recommendations were spot on! The Pistachio, Blueberry and Skor Cheesecakes were to die for!

I went into Double D's when I needed to find something for dessert for a family dinner. I was met by a wonderfully cheery woman that informed me that she was one of the D's in Double D's. I had never been there before and I let her know that, and she was not only extremely helpful but awesomely charismatic and you could tell she had a passion for what she was doing. She told me to try the Pistachio, Blueberry, and Skor and they were all a hit. I wish I could remember her name, but I do know I will be going back next time I am in Winnipeg! Definitely recommend!

the tiramisu cheesecake was so amazing! we also ordered a warmed cinnamon bun and the excitement had me dancing like that girl waiting for her pancakes at ihop

so yummy! i’ve only ever had them delivered, but definitely a go to. they’re open late, and on some of the food delivery apps. a convenient late night treat!
