The menu offers a selection of congee, noodles in soup, rice rolls and much more. Very good congee and noodles. the Lo mein come with a bowl of soup which you can dip the noodles in and it will be tasted even better. The staff is friendly and helpful. Overall, everything tastes good.

Been here twice for lunch and have only had the beef brisket soup and the long donut, but based on those alone I've gotta give the place 5 stars. Their chili oil is top notch as well and they sell that to take home, so worth a drop-in some time.

What a lovely Winnipeg gem! The owner is the sweetest lady. Highly recommend the brisket noodle soup, we had it with the Chinese donut, gai lan and Shanghai noodles. Great value and great food! Can’t wait to try more of their food.

This is the first review I write in my life about a restaurant, and only because this has been the worst experience I've had at a restaurant. I lived in China for several years and was craving authentic Chinese food. We ordered three dishes, all recommended by the waiter, and they were okay, nothing special. I wanted to use the restroom before leaving and accidentally entered the private restroom instead of the public one. When I came out, the waiter yelled at me in the middle of the dining area aggressively, stating that I didn't read that it was a private area. His reaction caught me off guard, and I apologized without giving much importance to the issue, then went to pay my bill. At the cashier, I apologized again, but this guy kept talking about me with all the kitchen staff, visibly upset. Just as I paid my bill, the waiter told me that I couldn't leave until they checked the dirty and unpleasant restroom I entered. I asked if he was accusing me of stealing, and he smirked, said he didn't know me, accused me of trespassing, and insisted they needed to check before I could leave. Meanwhile, another waitress was inspecting the private area I entered and its disgusting contents. I was in disbelief and started yelling at them to check me; I had no problem with being inspected. When the waitress signaled that everything was fine, the waiter told me I could leave and repeated it. What a dirty and unpleasant experience at this restaurant.

Fantastic soups and pork buns. I stopped in for a quick bite and found a new fav recipe. The wonton soup is simple and delicious, great for a cold night. And if you like chili oil definitely try theirs; it’s made in house!

I was subjected to racial animus on more that one occasion at Double Greeting Restaurant. The server an older woman constantly time after time would order me to sit at the back of the restaurant. This server would leave me sitting waiting for service while she attended or served others that came into the restaurant way after me. Other servers were very pleasant and respectful. This older woman server is a horrible person. Extremely rude and nasty!

Fantastic experience. Food was delicious- had the beef brisket noodle soup and the wonton soup, along with the Congee with pork and century egg. Broth was crystal clear, and extremely flavourful, with ample toppings. Loved it! Had never tried century egg before- and it was delicious! The concentrated egg flavour melted into the Congee and just made this wonderful, silky smooth porridge. We also tried the Bolei tea and we would definitely get it again next time. Our server was friendly and personable. Overall definitely a place I'd like to come back to.

I tried the beef stew noodle soup and the rice roll with the Chinese doughnut, and they were both delicious, I enjoyed each bite.My friends also loved their pork buns and beef tendon noodle soup.Forewarning for those planning to dine in though, to allot yourselves more time as it's so busy and shortstaffed they were during lunch hours. We waited for almost close to an hour for them to serve our orders.Anyways, for the taste alone, I would return and try either their famous signature Chow mein or Singapore noodles, or even get them both. ?

My favorite hole in the wall in the city. Love their Singapore noodles, Chinese long donut and beef brisket noodle soup. The chili oil is also a must!
An amazing hole in the wall restaurant. Delicious food for reasonable prices. Their spring rolls are so addicting and you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu

One of the city’s best hole in the wall restaurants! Serving traditional Chinese dishes like chow mein, congee, brisket noodles and more! I’ve been coming here since a wee child and the food has always been top notch.Highly recommend the seafood noodles, crispy chow mein, and century egg congee! I never leave this place hungry. If you’re lucky and get their early, remember to order an in-house made Chinese donut. Fantastic dipper!

Always a great place to stop for lunch while in the city doing free deliveries of our Yurkowski Family raw clover honey.Portions are smaller than they used to be, prices are a little higher than they used to be, but as a food producer myself there really isn't any way around that anymore.
