Love the jjangmyeon here, but the service is too slow.. taking our order took a while with only a few customers.. then waited another 25-30 minutes for our food to be served. If you're dining in, it's better to call in advance.

Food is amazing if you're looking for authentic Korean food. My only petition is for this resto to open until 9pm!
Been here a few times and tried out their items. Food is just mediocre. Their noodles are very heavy portion wise but don’t have much substance. The tofu soup doesn’t use soft tofu like how Korean places are supposed to. The egg was overcooked in the soup. There were maybe 6 pieces of cut up clam in the soup, they don’t even give you full pieces of the clams. Side dishes include bare minimum of 2, usually there are more variety.
Service and atmosphere are good, but wouldn’t come back to try more menu items for the price.

Good for two serving.
Ganjajang is available and its still good combo with tangsuyuk.
What's interesting, some of their tables used to be an old sewing machine.

Our favorite authentic Korean restaurant in Winnipeg. Foods are very delicious and large portions. Reasonable price. Service is good. Best time to come here when is not busy because I think there's only one person working in the front (the lady who take orders and serves) so if it's busy it might takes awhile to get your orders. We come here every month for lunch. We tried many korean resto in Winnipeg already, this is the best one yet so far!

Food is above average but the restaurant looks really outdated especially the washroom?

Restaurantji Recommends
Korean style Chinese restaurant.
Go to dishes are JjaJangMyeon (black bean pork sauce noodle), JjamPpong (spicy seafood vege noodle soup) and TangSooYuk (deep fried pork with a sweet sauce).
4 dishes was a bit too big of a portion for 3 of us. ($75 after tax 4 dishes in 2024 Mar)
Parking: Street parking free but when busy you need to walk 2-3 min.

Horrible customer service, I called to place an order, gave me a dish that included something I mentioned I can’t eat. Called back, asked for my address and did nothing for compensation. Person I talked to was very rude and had her voice raised.
came here after being recommended by a coworker. the decor is a bit outdated, but what lacks in decor is made up by the delish meal we had. our food came with two side dishes (pickled radish and cucumber kimchi). i got the combo a to share with my sister. we went with the black bean noodles instead of the soup option. portions were huge, we barely made a dent (will def have leftovers for days). overall great food and will def be coming back to introduce this restaurant to others :)

If you want to waste your valuable 2 hours, yes go this restaurant. If I have an option to give no star, I will do so.
