Food was fast. Place is clean. Has a old school feel and look. Ice cream is bussin. Food is damn good. Service was pretty not bad. So I got the biggest burger they have and it was amazing. Tastes great like a real meat burger. Comes with alot of fries. Milk shake was great. Bathroom is down stairs and was kind cool but nothing special besides it being in the basement. The burger is had was their dream burger with 8 patties but a regular burger seemed pretty big as well. Me and my wife will definitely go back. I seem the people beside us got a foot long hot dog and it look great too! Definitely lots of fries they give

Vegetarian options: They were amazing when I ordered my veggie burger they asked if I would like my fries cooked in a separate fryer. Amazing.

The atmosphere was amazing, the service was top notch, and the staff were out of this world. I could go on at length about the food, which was fantastic, but you really have to try it for yourself.

Loved all the detail added to create this Diner atmosphere. Friendly service, a variety of tasty food with a lot of fun choices, reasonably priced.

Really cool old school diner feel. Food was delicious, portions were quite large. The milkshakes were amazing and the staff were great. My kid knocked over his milkshake and the staff were incredibly kind about having to clean it up. They even replaced it free of charge.

The burgers were good and the milkshakes were excellent, but the service was unfortunately quite bad. It was steady, but not overly busy. That being said, the mostly very young staff seemed overwhelmed and noticeably flustered at times. Long story short, it took a very long time to get the food, and then only part of it actually came. After finishing what we got, we asked to cancel the rest, which was the topic of much discussion amongst the staff after. Asking to pay for the meal was one of the more awkward things I've experienced, as our waitress seemed completely overwhelmed for some reason. I felt bad for the young lady, but it was pretty odd and even a bit uncomfortable. Good food, but not sure I'd go back.

We're new to the area, and have been seeing ads for this for the past year. We finally decided to try the food out, so we ordered for pickup.

We didn't have to wait for long, but the staff appeared to very young and nervous. They didn't greet me or smile, I initiated that.

It was odd when I went to go pick up the food especially once stafd told me they could only hand me the food if I had a bag with me. (That in and of itself was weird). I told them I wasn't sure if I had one, but I'd go check. The staff seemed even more nervous at my response. I wrote it off thinking they were just having a day, or were shy. (I wasn't mean in any way. I know what it's like to be young and work in a customer-service job. Some customers can be nasty!)

I was luckily able to find a bag. I came back only to find they bagged my order anyway in a paper bag, and stapled it shut. It was so weird to be told I can only receive my food I had a bag, only for them to provide one anyway. I took my order regardless, and thanked them. I should've checked the recipt, but unfortunately didn't. We were just so hungry.

My husband and I get back home, and not only were the portions small, but we were also missing fries. I checked my DoorDash order (see attached images), and saw I did indeed order fries. I made a complaint via DoorDash, and luckily got a refund.

The food itself honestly wasn't much better. My husband got the honey dill chicken burger, of which he said didn't have much honey dill. I got the chicken fingers. For four chicken fingers at nearly $13, you'd expect them to be big. Instead, they were about 3 inches long each, and they weren't flavourful at all. Even a little bit of salt would've made all the difference. The milkshakes were passable, but not great. It makes me believe the fries wouldn't have saved the meal even if it wasn't forgotten.

We're not coming back, for takeout or dine-in. For nearly $60 (or $55 if you take the DoorDash refund into account), the food wasn't worth it. We were so disappointed. I was especially disappointed as as I was looking forward to it. There's better local restaurants in Winnipeg to support.

Love the aesthetic great job on the decor and as for the food I had the junior Smashburger and loved it! Really solid burger my first Smashburger as a matter of fact (side note love the sauce they added not sure what it is but wow I wanted more LMAO)

Stopped in for dinner for a family member's birthday and was definitely not disappointed! We had made a reservation for 4, but it wasn't really needed as the restaurant wasn't super busy (we went for dinner around 6:30). The décor and atmosphere is very charming, very reminiscent of a 50s-style diner complete with vintage ads adorning the walls and "oldies" style music playing.

The menu is limited but this is a good thing; I hate places that try to put everything on the menu and spread themselves thin - this is traditional diner food and it's done quite well. Our group started off with a round of milkshakes - GENEROUS portion size - they fill up a standard milkshake cup AND give you the remaining milkshake from the blender in a metal cup. The amount remaining in the metal cup is enough to fill up the milkshake glass a second time so you're getting basically two milkshakes for $6.95. Two people could split the milkshake easily.

I had the honey dill burger which was delicious with a perfectly fried and juicy chicken breast. I split an order of poutine with my girlfriend (the fries and poutine are quite large serving sizes) and they even brought the poutine in two separate baskets which wasn't asked for but was a nice touch! One member of our party ordered a "Junior" smash burger - he figured it would be quite large because it had two patties but it ended up being a bit smaller than expected. This isn't a fault of the restaurant, but we know for next time now. There are four levels of smash burger depending on the number of patties - if you have a healthier appetite definitely don't be afraid to go for the "Classic" or "Rockstar". Don't let the 4 or 6 patties scare you, as they're quite thin patties.

Overall a very pleasant experience with excellent food! They even give you a coupon on your receipt for 50% off a burger/fries on your next visit!

Kid-friendliness: Lots of colours that should appeal to children, and some stuff up front like a giant gumball machine. There's a children's hand-wash station at "kid-level" which I've never seen before but was a nice touch. There's a portion of restaurant blocked off by a manufactured wall advertising a "kids-only" area ("no old people allowed") but there wasn't anything inside it so I don't think it's complete yet - not sure if they have plans for this in the future?

Wheelchair accessibility: Note that the only washroom requires you to go down a flight of stairs to get to, so wouldn't be wheelchair accessible.
